LEITFADEN has looked very sharp in her last couple of starts. She defeated a similar field two back before looking all over a winner in Saturday grade before being chopped down on the post by a talented type. She should settle right over the speed and take plenty of beating.

OUR BUDDY BOY appears to have turned the corner in recent starts. Two starts back he ran a game second to a horse who was subsequently just edged out in Saturday grade and then last start he broke his maiden with a very soft win. He meets a field which contains plenty of opponents with questionable form and if he reproduces his last couple of efforts he should be too good.

DUCHA ZACHISTKI was a big fresh winner at Pinjarra. He settled off the speed and launched down the middle of the track to get there late. From a better draw he should settle closer to the speed and be very hard to beat.
