Race 1

ARISTA (6) showed brilliant gate speed to burn to the top last time out and can use that again here, never looked like losing when leading last run and looks to get to the top again and I think he will win from there. ELITE FLEET (8) is first up and has plenty of ability but may have to do some work in the run, expecting him to be the testing material. MAJOR MIKI WHITBY (12) is highly talented but must work with a tricky draw in this, can do his own dirty work when needed. BE HOME SOON (3) is a novelty chance with UP AND ALIVE (9) and JAXON MORGAN (10).

Suggested Bet: ARISTA (6) to win.

Race 2

FINAL COLLECT (7) won’t find a much better race for him to show his best, drops in grade further but is likely doing the work in the breeze and the market hasn’t been reflecting his modest form. STATE MY CASE (1) has the nice draw and has been racing without much luck, she will be close enough and can earn. HOLD THE AMMO (4) was better last run and can go on with that, will be driven forward and could lead and elevate again. OFFICIAL ROCK (10) is a winning chance, but she needs the splits at the right time so is always reliant on some luck. BURGHLEY SHARD (5), ILLAWONG MUSTANG (6) and RELLIM (11) all top 4 chances.

Suggested Bet: HOLD THE AMMO (4) to win.

Race 3

TROUBADOUR (3) will be running the gate hard to try and lead but has been a beaten favourite on more than one occasion, second up today and can improve but likely to hold favouritism. SUGAR STREET (1) doesn’t win often but should be leaders back at worst and is a strong place chance sitting close to the speed. COPPER HEAD LADY (4) looks to bounce off the last win but won’t get the luxury of leading in this. BLAZE AWAY (6) racing well and could do some work, ready to win but may have to be tough which has never been his number one attribute. HENRIK LARSSON (7), CEE DEE THREE (9) and KOOJAN (10) all novelty chances.

Suggested Bet: SUGAR STREET (1) to place.

Race 4

RUMBLE STRIP (8) will look to keep the advantage over his main rival and was brave in defeat last time out, can bounce back into the winners list here and go close. ULTIMATE MIKI (9) is a strong player; he still looks to be learning the caper but has a great amount of toughness and looks hard to hold out. KURIOUS BOY (1) lacks a bit of early dash but is racing well and looks a strong novelty chance if he doesn’t settle too far back. LOUIE LEBEAU (4) could try and ping out and brings him in with novelty claims along with CAMS BOULDER (5), RAGAZZO MACH (11) and HALE SAINT LOUIE (12) who is racing well.

Tips: 8 9 12 1

Suggested Bet: RUMBLE STRIP (8) to win.

Race 5

HOTLY PURSUED (6) can spear off the arm and is a strong chance to get to the top here, he was solid first up and should bounce off that nicely into this. PETES HONOUR (4) can fire out and look for the top but thought even off the back of that good effort they’d take the softer option if they led but he was good last time out. MENEMSHA (5) comes in fresh but has plenty of ability and is a versatile type. YOURE SO FINE (8) is highly talented and will be better suited here, can be put into the event and run well with novelty chances to MASTER PUBLISHER (1), MACHNIFICENT (7) and JUSTCALLMEMIKI (9).

Suggested Bet: HOTLY PURSUED (6) to win.

Race 6

OPAL HUNTER (1) goes up in grade but is a talented type and excels as a front runner, looks to lead and have them chasing again and hopefully a bit more meat on the bone in terms of price for tonight. SWEET PINS (5) was bolting in behind them with a quick last half in his most recent run, he continues to improve and looks a strong chance. IM LIGHTNING BANNER (4) and BETTORS PRIDE (6) both have good early speed but don’t think they can cross with the former likely to be handier to them. HIGH PRICE (10) ideally drawn and follows speed well.

Tips: 1 5 10 4

Suggested Bet: OPAL HUNTER (1) to win.

Race 7

ALTA TRIBUTE (9) has impressed me with his recent form and steps to a standing start to bring him into it, first go at the tapes and it’s always a concern but with a safe getaway I think he has the depth to win this and go well. A LITTLE SILENCE (8) also having his first standing start and has a 10m let up on my on top selection and has never missed a place in his career, brilliant consistency and the one I’m most afraid of. STORMY VISTA (3) hard to get a gauge on so far, steps well and could find the top and improve nicely on the rail. LUVBITE (10) smashed them last run but goes back to 40m which is a challenge, but the horse is fair dinkum flying. FRANCO MECCA (1), CALL TO ARMS (2), ARTFUL MAJOR (5) and BLAZING REACTOR (7) all novelty chances.

Suggested Bet: ALTA TRIBUTE (9) each way.

Race 8

Open race. INTO THE FUTURE (9) has come back well and must overcome a wide draw but has strings to his bow and can go well here, was driven with aggression a few starts ago and finished it on well, won’t be far away. IDEAL INTEREST (5) has come back well and can be pushed off the arm, only concern for mine is his better form this time in has been off not being bustled early. SALSAWITHSIERRA (11) has plenty of high speed, draw is a bonus in this grade as she can sit up and sprint home strongly and hopefully settle better, gets a bit fiery in front which is shown with the moderate last sections when leading at the middle distance. KINSAABI (4) has a chance with JILL MACH (6) who has been luckless as of late, but the draw doesn’t exactly scream good luck. BLITZER (8) capitalised on a crazy lead time on Tuesday and can be considered with BUNDEGI BLUE (1) from the nice draw.

Tips: 9 5 11 6

Suggested Bet: INTO THE FUTURE (9) each way.

Race 9

EASTBRO CHRISSY (1) has the form and speed to burn through and lead and looks to be given her chance in this quality event but will be hard to run down. FAKENIT (6) is racing in top form and is versatile, looks a major player in this. CAPTAINSHAVTIME (5) might try and cross, but chances go out the window if she can’t cross in this grade. AARDIEBYTHESEASIDE (8) is versatile but her last 100m in events this time in haven’t been her strongest so is a step or so below her best. PAROQUET (2) a top 4 chance from the nice draw and novelty chances to usual suspects of RUBY LOVERA (4), STARLIGHT DREAM (3) and HEAVENLY GIPSY (7). Good form race.

Tips: 1 6 8 3

Suggested Bet: EASTBRO CHRISSY (1) to win.

Race 10

ZLATO (2) has come back well and can be aggressive for the top in this, if he can work to the lead I think he will be the one to beat. MASTER REMI (1) is racing soundly but thought they’d look for cover and look to try and run the place. JACKIE DANIELS (6) and MINOR CATASTROPHE (12) both capable in this grade but need a cuddle up to come with one run to show their best. EYE BETTER (7) didn’t have much luck last time out and looks to be on the improve, keep safe at potential value. OUR MAJOR JACK (9) is ready to win but the draw is the big dampener on confidence levels there. BALTIC ACE (11) has been improving recently and can use the draw to be handy enough.

Tips: 2 12 6 1

Suggested Bet: ZLATO (2) to win.
