Race 1

RAGNAR’S SAGA was bitterly disappointing last time out but back in trip and with a tongue tie on he should bounce back. PARIS TEXAS is another who can improve off a freshen up. MRS BROWNS BOY continues to race consistently. PARADING is a definite place chance first-up.

Race 2

SON OF A COAT did enough on debut to suggest that he could run a cheeky race at odds on the soft track. THUNDERSTRUT was scratched from a winnable race to be saved for this. MIRACLE MAN improved sharply at trials with the addition of blinkers. DAZZLING POET will pinch a maiden very soon.

Race 3

COUNT TOMOZ OFF is hard to catch but at his best he would belt rivals of this quality. PLAY FOR PLEASURE first-up without a trial can run a big race. THE ANAESTHETIST is drawn awkwardly but is racing well. VITAL ASSET need only reproduce his maiden victory of last campaign to be competitive.

Race 4

DIABLERIE is a horse on the rise. Only concern is 1000m because he has stacks of natural ability and raw talent. ZEINITE will run along out in front. INVINCIBLE WARRIOR improved sharply last start. BANGALORE does his best racing fresh over this trip.

Race 5

QUEST TO VENUS gets her best chance to date of breaking maiden status. Should get every possible chance from the gun draw. MISS PONDEROSA could find the front if she is ridden aggressively out of the barriers. From there she is the danger. DARK PROSPECT looks a real grinding type. ONE WORD REVIEW showed glimpses last campaign.

Suggested Bet – QUEST TO VENUS EACHWAY

Race 6

SENSE OF POWER should get a world perfect run in transit from barrier 2 and this looks very winnable. SOMETHING BIG was an eye catcher two starts ago before getting bogged down on the inside last Wednesday. ALL SETTLED is always around the place. AMALFI LASS is better suited over much further but this race lacks depth.

PROCLAIMATION is an out and out wet track specialist. Only expecting a soft6 but he still gets conditions to suit. PRIZE CATCH comes from a strong Saturday form race. BELLA’S IDOL is a potential stayer on the rise. COOLGARDIE AL is a grinding maiden type who should whack away just off the speed.

Race 8

FILLE DE MERIT is more than capable of stringing wins together. She looks a talented type on the up. TAKE IT LIKE A MAN certainly proved he was adept on a wet track last Wednesday. BLAZING BUSINESS went very close on a rain affected track two starts back. LET’S TWIST is looking for further but talented.
