Glenn Ingram’s Wednesday Sandown Preview Posted on March 10, 2026March 10, 2026 | Posted by Glenn Ingram RACE 1 Impressive jumpouts from BROOKELINDA leading into her debut, only neat in size the filly has looked a natural and professional in all of her work to date and pays no penalty from a wide barrier coming out of the chute at 1000m. ON A JOURNEY did it all too easy winning his first trial at Ballarat, straight to the races a sign of confidence. BUGGSY has shown talent at the jumpouts, has speed and looks one of the leaders in the race. DIRTY HARRY was a touch disappointing on debut at Cranbourne, expect him forward early, last 100m may test him again. Selections: 9,13,3,4 Suggested Bet: BROOKELINDA win RACE 2 Even contest for the stayers over 3000m. SUFFOLK STAR pulled out a big run fresh at 2400m here in a good form race for the Adelaide Cup, he won his only other visit to this distance range and finds an ordinary race to be competitive again. TSITISPAS goes to the trip for the first time and has been racing well this prep, a key speed influence and key winning chance. Champion jumper STERN IDOL kicks off his winter campaign, two trials suggest may need the run. HIGH HEELED and RAPIDO RIVER worth including in multiples. Selections: 2,3,1,7 Suggested Bet: SUFFOLK STAR win RACE 3 XARPO is again well-placed after a soft win fresh at Caulfield when heavily-bet to do so. In a small field she can use gate speed to be handy early and sprint best. WISE INLAW can bounce back second-up dropping back from stakes grade, no intent fresh and could get a soft lead if ridden positively. TEST OF LOVE continues his rise returning from HK, had speed on to suit last time, different set-up for this but has drawn favourably. They are three key chances, open affair following them. Selections: 2,7,1,4 Suggested Bet: XARPO win RACE 4 A maiden race with many chances and differing form lines. TEN WARRIORS has not always been placed to advantage and still continues to attract market support as he is consistent, needs this for his confidence and weaker than what he’s been facing. CHOWDOWN started in the market on debut at Sale off good jumpouts and looks to have scope to improve this campaign. DIRTY LOOK got a long way back at Seymour on debut and hit the line hard, rise in trip suits. WINDHOWLER will be doing best work late at the end of 1300m, J Melham a key booking. Selections: 3,5,10,9 Suggested Bet: Exotics RACE 5 PALTROW MISS resumes off a long spell for new trainer Ciaron Maher having won her debut in NZ and was exported. Latest jumpout suggests she can win fresh at 1400m, a trip likely to suit and has shown a real competitive streak in race and trials. GOLD COAST BELLE can keep progressing, impressive first-up win for a hot stable and we get a line through that form in the previous race. MISS REVEALING is a big, strong filly and sure to run well fresh for a stable that likes to get them wound up early. BEAUTIFULLY can go on with it. Selections: 3,7,1,4 Suggested Bet: PALTROW MISS win RACE 6 Tough race, big field. Speed from 2,3,4 & 10 all likely to be forward. PHINEAS may end up getting the best run, always shown talent and last start win puts him on the rise. SAVISANTA was a solid winner fresh beating a weak maiden field at Sale, big market drifter second-up and never likely. Out to 1800m, he can be more effective with a good draw. TIME ALLOWED the import is ready to win third-up, the barrier means he needs luck. HALLOWED HALLS in the same boat and may find speed against. Selections: 11,12,7,15 Suggested Bet: PHINEAS win RACE 7 ROULETTE KING is a promising 3YO who was eye-catching winning first-up at Ballarat coming from off the speed at 1400m, 3 weeks to get over, the step to 1800m is a natural progression, tempo of the race key to his winning chances. CROCODILE coming out of the G2 Autumn Stakes where he was in the betting and never on the track, trapped wide throughout and didn’t finish off. Soft draw and the benefit of fitness, can bounce back. RUSSIAN DUCHESS has been racing well and on trial at a trip. I BELONG went forward in a COT to break maiden, this harder. Selections: 2,3,12,10 Suggested Bet: ROULETTE KING win RACE 8 No speed. Going wide in the quaddie. BON FETE has been up a long time, given a trial between runs and comes back to 1600m, if they ride her to be aggressive early she can pinch this with her extra fitness. PULA may opt to be positive using the low draw with Craig Williams. CHAMPAGNE JENNI can join her up front, she was a game winner fresh. CHIRINGITA was very disappointing as a short-priced fave at her Australian debut, needs to show more after being forward enough at the trials leading in. Selections: 5,8,3,1 Suggested Bet: Exotics Market Market
