Race 1

GRUMPEE (10) creates a lot of interest with some decent form from the eastern state, must be respected and has form from the tapes, go close. YOUR KIDDING (6) and LAVRADORE (5) will be charging for the top, both are racing well and can finish at the pointy end. SELLUNE (11) must overcome the back marker but has been very consistent. TILTHESUNSETS (1) is a place chance as always with interest surrounding KYVALLEY CLICHY (7) who was solid first up and the talented BONNIE RAE (9) resumes and is capable but may need the run.

Tips: 10 6 5 11

Suggested Bet: GRUMPEE (10) to win.

Race 2

INSURGENCY (3) has plenty of early speed and looks to pounce on the lead and has bumped into some nice ones, she will get her chance again. SWEETER THE BETTOR (7) is racing in wonderful form and has proven that she can do the work, expecting her to be on speed at some stage and running a strong race again. HUDSON STREET (2) debuted with a great effort in good time, should take further benefit from that but the early speed is a query. MISS BEJEWELED (9) will be running on strongly, she has a lot of high speed and VIVA LOST WAGES (8) was solid in the return run, draw could work out slightly tricky with traffic. DROP THE ACE (5) has plenty of speed but there is quick beginners’ underneath which doesn’t bode well for her map. STAYCATION (6) trialled well but looks a place best in this.

Suggested Bet: INSURGENCY/SWEETER THE BETTOR to quinella.

Race 3

Intriguing race. FLOAT MY BOAT (10) was a good effort in his freshen up run and looks suited in this grade, he has been a tricky horse to follow but if anything, he should be improved off that last run and this looks a touch easier. ROCK ON BILLIE (5) has plenty of high speed early and could charge off the arm and potentially lead, looks to have ability and can rise in this. PURELY PANDEMIC (1) has shown promise, trial was ok and has the nice draw. KOOJAN (7) was just sound in the return run; draw is difficult and needs to step further forward. THREE FLAMES (2) has drawn well and has been consistent, won’t be too far away.

Suggested Bet: ROCK ON BILLIE (5) each way

Race 4

SUB MARINER (4) has been racing well in this grade and has good early pace, could bounce on them and looks a strong chance to break through here with the main danger in my opinion is the stablemate in SPEED FORCE (9) who was a bold performance last time out, draw makes it more challenging. STRAYLYA (2) was disappointing last time out but fitter again and ideally draw at his favoured distance, place chance. BEALAWYER (10) mixing his form and needs some luck from the wide draw. Consistent players in HEAVENLY BLISS (5) and CARA DIANA (8) have tricky draws to work with.

Suggested Bet: SUB MARINER (4) to win

Race 5

Open race. SHES A LUCKY PENNY (1) has the speed to lead and was a recent trial winner, but form hasn’t been at her best, she will give them something to catch if she gets anywhere near her best. YANKEE LINCOLN (8) will have that perfect run and get the last look at them, looks suited. BEACH CAPTAIN (7) was strong in defeat last time out, likely heads forward but will be doing some work again and be there at the business end. IM DRINKINDOUBLES (9) will get a soft run and is a novelty chance first but won’t be far away. IM EUGENE (10) is capable but needs a bit of luck from the draw. IDEAL SECRET (6) winning chance if he could cross but don’t see that happening.

Suggested Bet: YANKEE LINCOLN (8) each way.

Race 6

JOLTED CHARM (2) looks well suited here, has solid speed and will be looking for the top and if she leads, she will be the one to beat. JAMIE KIM (5) is a quick beginner and is a major player if he was able to cross, no doubt he will be coming out hard in the early stages. RIPPER VIEW (1) looks better suited from the draw and grade, didn’t have the best luck on Friday and should be in the money but she’s finding it hard to stick her head out and win one. KOLISI (8) is a more out in the open type of runner so the draw becomes a touch awkward but racing well enough to be in the money if he can wind up. CHIEF COPY (6) and ISLAND TEE REX (9) both capable of better.

Suggested Bet: JOLTED CHARM (2) to win.

Race 7

This is a classic open standing start event. ROCK ARTIST (8) has come back well and looks to have possibly the best form lines in the race, expecting him to go well in this and seems to be tougher this time in. CALLMEWHATUWANT (10) is racing consistently and his effort in free for all a few starts ago was solid for a race of this nature, just needs a safe getaway, same story for ROCK ME OVER (7) who was brave in victory last time out. STAR CASINO (14) faces a task off the 50m. BEAT THE BANK (5) can be hit and miss from the tapes, safe beginning will see him feature and be dangerous. BET ON THE RIVER (1) is well equipped from the tapes, fitter for the first up run and can be close enough to earn. TRIROYALE BRIGADE (6) is in the hands of a safe beginning as well, form is consistent and solid. HEEZ A VIBE (9) and PAROQUET (13) both capable. Very tough race.

Tips: 8 10 7 5

Suggested Bet: ROCK ARTIST (8) to win.

Race 8

NUTBUSH GIRL (7) looks a real talent, will head forward and looks to find the top and appears to be a super front runner and from there she should go on her winning way. ALWAYSBFRANK (3) was better last time out and looks to work to the top and then will likely take cover and be a fantastic place chance. LOCAL RESIDENT (8) may have some traffic problems but with a likely quick last half the gaps should open. BALINGUP BOY (9) was superb in his last run but has had a freshen up since then, place chance. ERA (6) is flying but map could be tricky with plenty of speed underneath him.

Tips: 7 3 9 8

Suggested Bet: ALWAYSBFRANK (3) to place.

Race 9

Good race upcoming here. HES NEVER BEEN BETA (6) comes back from a break and he has talent, needs to be up on speed at a certain point and should be fit enough coming from the stables of Gary Hall Snr, go well. MIKI WINDERMERE (7) is elevating nicely, and this will be a big test, but he looks to be capable of handling the rise again. ARMA BELIEVER (10) will be thundering home, he’s had a slight freshen up into this, but the tempo looks to suit him and his racing style. OUR LILILOU (1) is a place chance from the draw and will be fitter for the first up run. GETN WIGGY WITHIT (4) is racing well and is versatile. ROLLINDOWNTHERIVER (5) had the race run to suit but as mentioned the tempo can suit him to be included in the novelties. MAJOR FREEWAY (9) is capable and looks a novelty chance but had a hard run last time out.
