Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 7, 2024June 7, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 8 Fennec Fox Best dog in the race and only has to step her usual best and show speed to cross these and she won’t be for catching. Betting on this short run to the first turn. Hard to beat. Race 2 No. 5 Cappadora Improving type who showed good city maiden from at Cannington before breaking through here with a strong win. Small field suits and will be prominent throughout here. Race 3 No. 8 Hippy Trail and No. 6 Clifton Matilda Giving the 8 another chance after her lacklustre effort last week. Never got into it at any stage but the look at the track will surely have deriven benefit here. The 6 is racing well and while she’s not her old self in terms of class, she is still getting around the mark and has early toe to boot. Could land close and she sticks on strongly. Race 4 No. 8 Defender Lightly raced so far but he has talent and well drawn here. Outclassed two starts back but still a good effort in a tough race when not beaten far. Can be slow early but if he sweeps into this quickly he will take some stopping. EW prospect. Race 5 No. 8 Bezzechi and No. 2 Wise Barra The 8 is another who has a lot of ability and will have seen this place already. If he gets into his work early he has a big set of sections in him and will be hard to hold out. Unless of course he is chasing the 2 who will go fast, get wide, but runs time. She will take some catching here and be very hard to reel in no matter how wide she gets. Race 6 No. 6 Daddy’s Girl Her run was ok last week but she will go much better with that behind her now and straight back to this circuit. Found a lot of trouble and while she was beaten a fair way, this is much easier than that affair. Massive EW play here. Race 7 No. 6 Disco Daisy and No. 5 Kuro The 6 will go better here as she is better drawn wide on these corner starts. Goes fast and hard to reel in when she leads. The 5 continues to get better and he was superb last week. Rounded them up strongly and while there was trouble, he still went about his work well and will find some more again. Race 8 No. 8 What A Ripper and No. 7 Brain Teaser The 8 will muster up hard here and while he has wide runners to get around, he has help in this and that will be key. If he leads he wins. That help is in the shape of the 7 who will dart out and cut a few of these off instantly. She could even find herself on the arm and she does her best work there. Both good shows here. Race 9 No. 1 Two Ronnie’s and No. 4 Fred Flint The 1 is boxed to muster up fast and if he retains the arm they won’t be catching him. He goes well around here and is racing superbly. The 4 could surprise with his speed and the new kennel that has him go well around here with their dogs. Dont be stunned if he slips away and makes himself hard to catch. Race 10 No. 6 Turtle Fernando Last chance. A slew of front running types who want to drift off and he will go over heels here to the fence and start his run. If the gaps appear quickly he will take them and launch late. Must produce against these however. GEELONG Race 7 No. 6 Follow The Band Race 12 No. 1 Fighting Boxer Market Market
