Harry Buchanan’s Sunday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on July 16, 2023July 16, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 3 Bad Influence It won’t get easier for this girl. She has ability but has yet to find all of it on race night and this is her chance. First look at the short trip and straight start will help immensely. If she’s close here she should sprint home away from these. It won’t get softer than this. Race 3 No. 7 Commander Mack and No. 6 Redshift Tango He continues to find himself wedge between dogs at this first turn does our mate the 7. Has terrific muster but needs to get that turn sooner and he just might with the 6 inside him. He goes fast and left and this will give the 7 the room. It will also see the 6 nearly lead himself and he will be hard to catch then. Both big hopes and the first 50m decides the race. Race 6 No. 5 Wake Up Geoff and No. 2 Remembrance I swore I wouldn’t go again on the 5 but the fact he’s been dropped back to 275 means he gets his very last chance. This will now void him if any excuses with corner starts etc if he gets beat here. If they lead him in this, he can never be backed again. The 2 is the one who can hold the arm here if the 5 doesn’t step again. That would make him almost impossible to catch as well. Save there. Race 7 No. 1 Stella Gundi The box plays a huge part here for this girl. Does her best work off the inside and scored last time she had the red. The 2 will run cover for her early and she just needs to hold that spot into the back to be a threat on the way home. Gets her chance. Race 8 No. 1 Guess Why Surprised she was run down last week after leading. 30.16 below her best on the arm and the fact she has raced at Northam and was having only her 2nd run track and trip could explain it. Expect improvement here and hopefully finds the arm again off the inside which would surely see this over. Race 9 No. 9 Bazinga Boy Mixing his distances and he’s not out if this if he gains a start. Especially from an inside draw. Can show pace and step well so keep an eye on him at odds if he does get the run. Race 11 No. 6 Nitro Jet Start isn’t everything here…..it’s the only thing!! Has dazzling speed off the mat and can step and that’s all he has to do here. Will spear across and put a few on these up the back if he comes out running. Will drop another gear again if that happens as ices them like a cake and races home in sub 22 to score. Betting on the start only but he can nail it. Race 12 No. 2 Cash Monelli and No. 6 Turtle Fernando The 2 has his best draw for a while here. The last time he drew in almost half a dozen starts ago, he led all the way in fast time at Northam. Big drop in company and can win with a good step. The 6 got caught outside a dog last start who stops pursuing the arm and just runs others off for run when she can’t lead and that was this blokes race over. He can muster up here and with clear air he can go well this time. Save there as keen on the 2 here. Market Market
