Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on July 7, 2023July 7, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 6 Lil Bodi and No. 5 All Spiked Up Start critical here for the 6. If he spears the way he can, he will put himself in this to strike. Good run last week and can handle this draw. The 5 will win one, some day. Continues to make his fast middle section run and keeps finding dogs in the run home. Clear run is all he needs here to hit the frame. Race 6 No. 2 Sweet Emily and No. 5 Redhead Rider The 2 has one job. That’s to clear the red early. Should she do that, the kennel mate can assist holding this fav up and make the 2s passage much easier. The 5 could also spear here and he’s very hard to catch when he leads. Needs to cross some wide runners but is priced to play as he is capable. Race 8 No. 6 Iconic Indie and No. 3 Sozin’s Azzuri The 6 is a silly price here. She has good box manners and while she will need them against these, she could cross here off a flyer and would become hard to catch. EW spec. The 3 will also go fast here and he’s another who is hard to catch when he has the arm. That’s all we are betting on with both these. Race 10 No. 4 Fearless One Yet another it odds who is far from out of this. He stepped beautifully last time but just couldn’t quite find the arm and was knocked out going into the back. He’s very capable and his draw isn’t horrible here. Don’t ignore. Race 11 No. 3 Amarillo Drive Giving her one last chance after she failed to capitalise on a dream map last week. Her best sees her well over the odds here and being 3rd up now means she should be ready to peak. Give her one more go on the EW. Race 12 No. 5 Kinjarling Reckon he can sneak under every radar here. Has plenty of talent and while corner starts may not be his go, he can handle them and the look he had here last start will have done him huge benefit. Don’t be surprised if he comes out running and puts it to these. Huge quote. ALBION PARK Race 1 No. 8 Spot On Harper, No. 7 Hara’s River and No. 4 Hidden Agenda Happy to box these 3 up in exotics now we are down to 5 runners. The 8 stays all day, the 7 leads again here and hard to catch this week and the 4 is just an enigma. They should run quinellas at least. This fav unders for mine. Race 2 No. 2 Days Of Thunder Small field her go as we saw two starts back. Ran into dead ends last week and shouldn’t have that issue here. Booming run home and hard to stop. Race 5 No. 10 Bat Sign Gets a start from the 8. This dog is a future star!!! His run was superb last week and he’s got the best map possible here. He’s very good and will be there at the end if he steps cleanly here. EW bird to play all day. Can win, should place. Keen. Race 6 – Brisbane Cup (Group 1) https://blog.tabtouch.com.au/runner-by-runner-brisbane-cup-queensland-cup/ Race 7 No. 5 Super Shanks, No. 6 Hara’s Herbie and No. 7 Kai Bale Happy to back all 3 of these at the quote. The 7 and 5 get the bulk of the attention with a small saver on the 6 who could lead. Looking for the other two to get nice first turn runs and descend from the back in what could be a messy at affair. Race 8 – Queensland Cup (Group 1) https://blog.tabtouch.com.au/runner-by-runner-brisbane-cup-queensland-cup/ Race 9 No. 5 On The Off and No. 4 Shipwreck If the 5 leads he’s hard to catch and he can store most days. This is his best distance and only needs to come out running to figure. The 4 having his first crack at this trip here at this track. Has won up to 660m and was unlucky in a cup heat. He will be there at the end. Race 10 No. 3 Jewel Bee and No. 7 Hara’s Skye The 3 is a stayer but she is versatile and will come on from the back here. Just needs to stay close through the middle section. The 7 will look to spear across and can run time on the arm. Don’t ignore. Market Market
