The distance not perfect but not bad and her best step at box rise will rush up and put these away quickly. Has a touch of class on this field. Race 3 No. 8 Escape Plan Last chance. Right box and while he looked a bit sus turning last week, there is a chance he rushes around early here and puts the foot down up the back. Finding the arm would mean this should be over so he needs to be on song early. Must produce here. Race 4 No. 3 Aquila This has to be her race surely. Comes out of an Oaks heat where she wasn’t that bad at all coming from the back. She is simply better than this field. Early speed hasn’t been there as it once was but really won’t matter if she gets a clear run. Looks the one. Race 5 No. 3 Tangled Web and No. 4 Jimali A couple at big odds who can stun here. The 3 will be wanting the arm but we will see a very different dog if she gets it, or settles right near the lead. Can run a race at doubles. As can the 4 who is much stronger than most realise. Showed last start she is crying out for this trip and is a silly quote here. Will launch home late. Both place heavy goes. Race 7 No. 3 Elliptical and No. 4 Ultimate Command If ever we wanted the 3 to miss the start it’s right here!! If he does, he will win. Hops straight over behind the 1 and 2 and sails up the fence when they both get wide into the back. Won’t be stopped if that happens. Our old mate in 4 will be the one trying to cross those 2 dogs and will give another huge show if he does. Racing well and likes this track and trip. He’s a threat and save. The 3 won’t be missing the frame with the right map here. Race 9 No. 2 Let’s Riot and No. 7 Hello Jet A couple of EW shots here to take this fav on. The 2 is well drawn and with the red never ever stepping at Cannington, he gets the inside to himself if he happens to come out. Would need to hold the 3 up early however but can stick on well. The 7 is flying and he will round them up out wide into the back and sustain that run home. Can run time too. Don’t ignore him either. Race 11 No. 5 Indy Go Ruby and No. 7 Forward Scout The 5 was outstanding last week. Had to come from midfield which she doesn’t normally do to run home stoutly and just miss. Usually shows good box speed and will give a sight here if she finds the top. The 7 was horrid last week and giving him one more go at the big price. He’s better than that and could sweep around and descend here. Would want to do something here this time. Place heavy for him. SANDOWN PARK Race 3 No. 6 Dewana Scotch Sublime effort when resuming to win his heat. Came with a sustained run home that saw him descend late and nail the leaders on the line. Has a big engine and will look to run into this final up the back again and is a solid place heavy play at a great quote. Race 5 No. 6 Fred Rose and No. 8 Crackerjack Aret The 6 has one of the deepest trick bags at the magic store but just as much talent when he’s on. Can show speed and sticks on the whole way. Been racing the upper echelon around here and will enjoy the grade drop. Handles wide draws. The 8 has the unique ability to press the nitrous button up the back and unleashes a paralysing burst of speed that few can hold off. Even Hector Fawley couldn’t mow him down last week. Enough said. Race 6 No. 2 Hummock and No. 6 Tiger Jack The Lizrene for the stayers and the 2 was excellent first crack at 700 last week. Looked the winner turning but had to change course late and may have peaked on his run near the line. Better draw here and should settle much closer. The 6 has had a look here now and will improve out of sight. Never looked comfortable last week in his cup heat and is much better than that. Has come back well and gets another go here. Race 8 No. 3 Moraine Suzie The Sandown Cup final and she really does look to be back. Her run in the heat was enormous and arguably should have won. Pushed wide when about to settle close early and then charged home to just go under by over a length and a half. A clear passage early and settling forward sees her extremely hard to stop here. EW bird in the cup final. Race 9 No. 5 Scofflaw and No. 1 My Catalina The 5 broke through over the middle trip at The Meadows last time and was impressive. Moves to Sandown where a repeat will see him give these plenty to catch. Can run sections and hard to beat. The 1 takes a little to wind up but when she does she is very hard to hold out. Can unleash a booming run home and will be threatening if she is close at the top so watch for her late. Race 11 No. 7 Boston Garden and No. 3 Flip Your Fifty The 7 was much better than he looked last week. Had very little luck up the back and is a great EW play here. Can lead or come from behind. The 2 has a big motor but can be clumsy and lose interest when he has his momentum halted. If he drives into this through the middle he will be in the finish. Both dogs big hopes here especially the 7. Market Market
