Race 1

HEARCOMESTHESTAR won well on debut and is likely to be improved by the outing. Most first starters have shown something, particularly liked the most recent jumpout of COUER VOLANTE. AUSTMARR rode the speed and battled on well on debut in the same race as Hearcomesthestar. APPELBY has shown tactical speed at the jumpouts.

Race 2

END JOURNEY coped well with the rise in grade last start and looks progressive. CHARMED RUN may have been held up a touch behind End Journey last start and hit the line well, that form ties in TANTO. GREYT MUMMA will be part of a sold speed and give a sight. FLYING ON A LIMB broker her maiden well last start and should appreciate a decent tempo.

Race 3

GOOD AND PROPER has returned in great form and should appreciate getting back out to 1600m. Through the same race LACRIMA raced in restricted room late and was only first up, so you’d assume she’ll strip fitter. Doubt BELLE SAVOIR was best suited leading last start, winkers come off and pre-race ear muffs go on. PITCHANUN has had a quiet trial since her last start victory.

Race 4

SANDY PRNCE saw plenty of the home straight winning at Warrnambool but still managed to record a dominant win, he maps for a good run. CARDIGAN QUEEN ran well first up and looks suited stepping up to 1300m. MR MOJO RISIN’ is in the game if he gains a start, along with SIG POSITANO, DO YA PUNK, HELLO BROADCAST and TASMAN PARK.

Race 5

HARD TO CATCH had been trialling well leading into his encouraging first up run, he’ll probably improve further with this run under his belt but don’t want him getting under my guard. MAGARTEN battled on alongside DASHING last start and both have strong claims again. EUPHORIC is building a good record and shapes as through 1600m will suit. ELKINGTON ROAD and ARTZINO have some claims.

Race 6

KATSU takes another rise in grade and looks destined to progress to stronger race and stands out as the one to beat. INVINCIBLE CAVIAR has jumped out impressively to resume, 1000m will be short of her best trip but she will be strong late. TAUNTING looks suited coming back to 1000m after sticking on well in the Wangoom. SARTORIAL SPLENDOR and ESTA LA ROCA shape as thr main other hopes for multiple bet types.

Race 7

HE’S OUR BONNEVAL looks well placed stepping up to 1300m second up following an encouraging first up run. HOME RULE is racing well, he’s bred to appreciate this trip, or even further, and ran strongly through the line to win over 1100m last time. PASCERO has obvious claims through the He’s Our Bonneval race. FLASH FLOOD was solid at Warrnambool and the claim is a plus. PROWLING ran well at stakes level last start.

Race 8

GREEN FLY caught the eye first up and the step up to 1600m looks an ideal progression. FRENCH EMPEROR has been in great form since joining the Price and Kent (Jnr) stable and will strip fitter for his encouraging return. OUR REDENTE gets pre-race ear muffs off and the full set of ear muffs on, he’s likely to be ridden more conservatively and be hitting the line strongly. UNUSUAL CULTURE coped well with the step to 1600m last start. BRAYDEN STAR is another that looks well placed second up. BRITISH COLUMBIA will make his own luck any track pattern should be established by now.

Race 9

GUNSTOCK is a real talent, he won well first up and the step to 1800m looks ideal. PINSTRIPED backs up after a dominant win last week, no obvious knock on him getting out to 1800m. D’AGUILAR was the giant killer last start but his overall record is solid and he’s trialled nicely between runs. NORMANDY BRIDGE may be looking for further but chased well behind a smart one at his latest run.
