Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on August 22, 2022August 22, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 5 One Chance and No. 8 Maree Keeping The 5 has had a horror run of box draws and it continues here. She is a fast dog however and can offset the middle pin. Sub-16 runner and few of these are. The 8 gets the drag here off the 7 who is blistering early but weak. If she can step and utilise that opportunity, she will be in the finish at good odds. Race 9 No. 6 Fawn Roller This is a two-dog race. The 6 and the 2. The pair of them have panels on these and the draw favours the 6 who is in form and loves it wide. Has dropped more sub-16s here than most with the exception of the 2. The champ in 2 will be hard to beat but he’s been a little off recently. Had a freshen. The 6 only needs to avoid trouble to hit the frame. Race 10 No. 5 Tarzali A repeat performance of his recent runs would see him in the finish here. Has a solid formline and this isn’t a deep 520m. Can get down to that 30.20 mark which will be winning this and only needs a good first split to put himself in a winning spot. Will hit the line well. Race 12 No. 10 Dancing Fun At time of posting, scratchings are not yet through, but if the 10 gets the run here with the scr of box 5 already, she’s the one. Class runner who was desperately unlucky not to cross last start. Goes much better here track and trip and graded to win. Won’t get it any easier than what she’s been facing. ANGLE PARK Race 4 No. 5 Sutton Ebony and No. 7 Barely’s Era The 5 is going well. Leads or comes from off the arm and is winning some good races or placing at least. Can punch over here as long she doesn’t get caught outside the red first turn as he ducks off badly under pressure with dogs outside him, she can hit the podium. The 7 is well drawn and she can be there throughout at odds. Keeps coming to the line and will give a sight. Race 5 No. 1 Spring High Low and No. 3 Runaway Lad The 1 steps up here in trip and has been crying out for it. She is a big girl, she’s awkward, but has a stack of ability and has seen this trip in a trial. Wins with a clear run. The 3 will go well here too. He can lead if he steps and his last run over this trip was huge. Gone well against better dogs and can figure. Race 7 No. 1 Saint Sandy He can give these a shock here. Has a surprisingly good turn of foot and if he uses this inside draw, he can drive up here and be hard to catch. Slight concern that he gets off first turn but if he’s clear he should handle it. EW player here. Race 8 No. 5 Colonel Trigger Shame he can’t draw a box. He has handled these poor draws well though and getting used to them now. Only has to offset this middle box to win here and looks a monster hope. Would have been a special off a better box. Still looks the best play and we get EW odds to cover. Race 9 No. 8 Molly Irish Boxed to slide up out wide and put herself in this. Has yet to run any real time but she has gone well enough on the clock to win this and the box will give her an advantage. Can hit top two here and has won two out of three from this draw. Race 11 No. 7 Demolition and No. 2 Diamond Carat The 7 is still to bring his VIC form to SA. When he does, he wins a race like this and wins it easily. Showed signs a few starts back that he’s close and small field suits. The 2 can surprise at odds. She will keep hitting the line and has no issues with the trip. The fav is short and can win but I’ve seen him walk to the line over this trip before. The last bit can really test him some days. Race 12 No. 8 Lot Of Poise The 8 is the best placed here considering who he has raced against recently. Handles the draw and can run time. Placed two from three this box and will look threatening if he steps. Should be winning really. Keep an eye on the 5. First up from VIC, he has raced the best they have over there but has not seen his best for a while now. The 8 looks the one. Market Market
