Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on June 11, 2022June 11, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 1 Flashing Kuna Superb effort last start and simply should have won. Badly cramped for room in the run to the first turn then dealt out a super run home to just fall short. Boxed to give this fav in 8 more than he can handle with wide runners drawn outside her. Best bet #1. Race 2 No. 8 Sweet Mama Mia First turn poleaxing cost her badly last week and forgiving that run. Can stay all day and nothing gets home harder. Just needs to navigate clear passage and stay close early. Race 4 No. 5 Kirmizi and No. 6 Jimmy Rocks Key scratching of Barrio Beast means these two settle much closer now. The 5 has raced some good dogs and he’s right up to this if he offsets the box. The 6 is in form and racing well as evidenced by his 29.96 last start off a similar draw. Both solid shows. Race 5 No. 2 Momentum and No. 4 Lacrymosa The Winter Cup final and some super sprinters engaged here. The weapon in 2 is the one to beat however. Has lacked a little early on his last few but he’s drawn to get the run here and none of these could hold him with clear running. The 4 is the smoky here. She will look for a first turn run and start her work up the back. Hits the line hard and is a great EW saver in a race that could get messy. 2 on top from 4. Race 7 No. 8 Crackerjack Pack and No. 2 Magic Salute A couple of massive bolters here. The 8 will be any old price but it’s not beyond him to swish over and around here and give them plenty to catch. He’s far from hopeless when he steps. The 2 will smoke the pipe on the fence and will be smashing the line here. Only 2 divs which is unfortunate but one or both can hit that top 2 spot with the right runs. Race 8 No. 7 Throttle At risk of sounding like a broken record, he is THE subsonic cruise missile in WA greyhound racing presently and will be for some time to come. Has ridiculous talent and his performance last start was simply exquisite. Handles himself like a seasoned group 1 pro and while the draw is a little trickier this week, he will give any of these frost bite if he’s on their tails up the back. Will charge through the gears and only bad luck or his usual slow start and trouble could get him beaten here. Best bet #2 Race 11 No. 6 Sunset Whistler Benefit of the doubt being given last week. He hit that point of the top turn at the wrong time and it stopped his momentum. Looking for him to come out and replicate his best 600m run. Was unfairly criticised last start for his actions and while arguments can be made, he had excuses for mine and we will see where he’s at tonight. Best dog in the race. THE MEADOWS Race 5 No. 8 Mepunga Warrior Barnstorming winner of his heat and boxed to wind up strongly again. Runs some big big sections when wound up and is racing right at his top. Only needs a trouble free run to win and won’t be missing a place with any luck at all. EW bird and best bet. Race 7 No. 6 Major Giblet Our old mate will be looking to find the top early here. His run last week was much better than it looked and he has matched it with the better middle distance dogs in the past. Consistent performer who will look ominous from lids up. Race 10 No. 6 Zambora Richie Will be a price but is not out of this. Won at Ballarat through the week and was strong to the line there in a fair field. Has good form here with 2 wins over the trip and can handle all boxes. Place heavy go at the big price. Race 11 No. 5 Belle Violin High talent who lost his way around two turns a while back and was taken away to the one turn tracks. Back here and is better boxed wide these days as he started to get off from inside draws. Can run time and a clear passage will see him put these away. WENTWORTH PARK Race 3 No. 7 Katoni Banner and No. 8 Four Five A couple of experienced campaigners who can figure here. The 7 is versatile and can either lead or come from back. Runs time when she’s on. The 8 gets back but rarely misses a place and has a big run home. Forgive last start. Will be running on. Race 9 No. 7 Special Blend Super consistent dog who has been competitive in the top grade for some time. Handles all boxes and runs time. 29.86 PB here and small field will see him right there from the get go. Will stick on like glue. Hard to beat. Race 10 No. 4 Cumbria Dreaming A recent addition to regular Masters company, he still has his zest for racing and going well. Unlucky last week when making solid ground late and can land much closer. Has a good turn of foot up the back. Big chance. THE GARDENS Race 10 No. 2 Oh Oh Range and No. 4 Line Of Quality The stayers racing for $500,000 first prize here in this inaugural 715m race. Tremendous concept and has presented us with a field of top line stayers. The 2 went within a whisker of the track record in his heat and he’s the one to beat. More importantly,he is prepared by one of the most astute trainers to ever put a collar and lead on a dog. Will be primed to the second and looks the play. The 4 can’t win unless they jam up which is quite possible here at this first turn. It creates a bit of trouble when runners hit it as one and this bloke will be out the back, on the fence and looking for a run through. Has stacks talent but lacks conviction when things get tough. Can stay however and if they pack up, he’s the speculator here. Was good in his heat. 2 the play and small dice roll on 4. Market Market
