Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on March 27, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 7 Sebastian Mac His moderate getaways have been costly lately but this is his chance to muster up against these and go close. Just needs to step a fraction better to put himself in the race before the first turn. Looks his best chance in some time. One of 2 best bets on the card and he is an EW quote as well. Race 7 No. 8 Magical Fun and No. 2 Close Contact The 8 has been racing some touch opposition at Mandurah lately and while she hasn’t done a lot, can improve back here and against this company. Looking for her to spear around quickly. Will need to show her good box speed however. The 2 is the run on component here. A few of these need the arm and he doesn’t. Can stalk to leaders and pounce. Race 9 No. 2 Shirakaba Her form might look poor but it’s not as bad as it reads and this is her chance in a race of few hopes. Did run in a heat of the Perth Cup 2 starts ago and wasn’t disgraced. Drawn to get a lovely map and can assert herself up the back. Strong run home and while the fav looks very hard to stop, he can occasionally not turn up, which she will then become the one. Race 10 No. 2 Bill Monelli and No. 4 West On Elysse The 2 finally gets his chance to break through here off a good draw and in this company. Super consistent and competitive against better dogs, he should be able to step and be right there from the outset. The 4 will be huge odds and is far from hopeless. She can make a fast mid section run and while her early speed is lacking, she will be probing for run up the back. Can get into the money at odds. Race 11 No. 6 Uptown Fun Spears out most days and that will be her best chance here. To cross and lead. Handles any box and this is clearly her best track and trip. Will run a low 16 on a clean arm and that will hold these if she slips away early . Must pounce at box rise. Race 12 No. 6 Big Boy Bundy Only has to offset the box to be the major force here. Last 3 have been great efforts and while that was off inside draws, he is capable off most boxes. Superb record track and trip and just needs a little early luck. Another best bet and still a great EW price. GAWLER Race 3 No. 8 Calais Prince and No. 5 Slippery Kip The 8 can get into this off his good draw. Was running into it last start when he was stopped in his tracks by the leader. Can break 23 and has early dash to sweep around. Save on the 5 who also has some early speed and is close to a win. Keen 8 and save 5. Race 10 No. 2 My Villanelle and No. 7 Big Prediction The 2 is ready to win and if she steps cleanly, can put herself straight into this and her recent efforts should see her go close. Handles all boxes and has been placed multiple times here. The 7 has opened an astronomical price and isn’t hopeless. Has shown up in these types of races before and is well boxed. Good run last start behind a flying machine. Worth a save.
