The Scout: EPL Week 25 Posted on February 12, 2022February 12, 2022 | Posted by The Scout Newcastle vs Aston Villa Newcastle (17th) have managed to drag themselves out of the relegation zone following back-to-back wins over Everton and Leeds United. Aston Villa (11th) are in a mini purple patch, with three straight matches without loss. It’s hard to split these two teams, however both sides have shown their intent to score in recent matches. Last matchday Newcastle scored three goals against Everton while Aston Villa had a 3-3 draw against Leeds. The Magpies have strengthened their attack over the transfer period and now boast a front line of Chris Wood, Allan Saint-Maximin, and the creative playmaker Ryan Fraser. Aston Villa have also added to their attacking potential by adding Brazilian star Phillipe Coutinho, who has two goals and two assists in just three games. Suggested Bet: Total Goals Over 2.5 @ $1.81* Leicester City vs West Ham Leicester City (12th) suffered their third defeat in four matches after going down 2-0 to Liverpool earlier in the week while West Ham (4th) continued their fantastic Premier League form with a professional 1-0 win over Watford. David Moyes’ men are in a battle for top a four spot in the Premier League and head to King Power Stadium at an ideal time, with Leicester having lost back-to-back matches at home. West Ham are a complete side and look a legitimate top four side. They are well managed by Moyes and have world-class players in Declan Rice and Michail Antonio. Leicester have a roster with far more holes, and have lost six of their seven matches against teams in the top five on the Premier League table. Suggested Bet: West Ham WIN @ $3* Burnley vs Liverpool Burnley (20th) are looking certainties to be relegated having now gone ten straight Premier League matches without a win. Liverpool (2nd) have won three in a row and look fantastic, but they remain nine points behind Manchester City. Despite a significant gap between Manchester City and Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has vowed to continue fighting while the title is still up for grabs. The Reds were able to take care of business without Mo Salah and Sadio Mane (African Cup of Nations duties) but they are now back and Liverpool close to full strength. Mo Salah is arguably the best striker in the world at the moment and looks a good bet to add to his league-leading 16 goals for the season. And early! Suggested Bet: Mo Salah First Goalscorer @ $3.90* *Odds correct as at 8am, 12th February 2022. Market Market
