Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on February 12, 2022February 12, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 4 Lacrymosa The step back from 600m to 520m is key. Confidence is high and she’s the best dog in the race who only needs a clear run to win. Race 2 No. 7 Poppa Monno and No. 5 Watch Me Sizzle The 7 is racing right at the top of his game and coming off a 3rd behind Mambo Monelli in the feature last start. Rounds dogs up very quickly and can figure here with a run up the back. The 5 will enjoy the smaller field and can absolutely surprise here. Strong and only needs some luck. Race 3 No. 3 West On Cup She may want an outside draw but this is the first time she has met her own age and equally inexperienced dogs. Has a stack of talent and can unleash big middle and last sections. Place heavy. WENTWORTH PARK Race 2 No. 4 Crocodile Vella Coming off an unlucky Bathurst cup run, he goes well here and looks a tremendous each way show. Will look to position up the fence first turn and can break 30 comfortably. Race 8 No. 1 Special Blend Gets the gun draw here with Bandit Ned wanting off big time. Ran on hard behind him last start and gets a much better map here. Should be hitting top 2. Race 9 No. 6 Tarawi Lou Gets his chance to finally produce here and will be big odds to do it. Can run time and when drawn wide, goes a lot better with him wanting the middle of the track. Race 10 No. 7 Hampshire She is only tiny but she has a huge heart. Begins quickly, lacks pace then comes again late. Known for her longer trips, she can give these a huge shake and represents as a great roving banker play with the field in your trifecta’s and first fours. THE MEADOWS Race 1 No. 9 Emani Bale She gains a start from box 3 and was superb for us during the week. Will do much similar here, look for the fence behind the speed then unleash through the middle and late sections. Place heavy play here. Race 2 No. 7 Major Giblet Has been a tremendous dog for us at odds most of his career and steps up to the 725m for the first time. Can stay, grinds hard and just doesn’t go away. Tough field but he has stuck it to good fields before and he can again. Small speculator EW at the huge odds. Race 3 No. 2 Kanji Height He is mapped to get the best run here and will be right on the pace at the first turn. Can run time and does some of his best work around here. Drawn to be there at the end. Race 7 No. 8 Soda Fizz Absolute tragedy what unfolded last week. Was badly boxed in going through the pen with nowhere to go and then launched when finally clear, taking ground off dogs that shouldn’t be having ground taken off them. Wins with any luck or clear run!!! Race 9 No. 4 Gypsy Vista and No. 7 Octavia Bale A shame there is only 2 divs now but both these girls are ready to run big races at odds. The 4 gets closer to the fence this week and that is imperative. Rails home quickly when she finds that fence. The 7 is under rated and can knock these over with a good beginning. She is very hard to catch when she gets some luck and clear running. Back both for top 2 plays. Race 11 No. 3 Riccarton Rick This is his race and he is the best bet on the card at the odds. Sensational effort last start to make up ridiculous ground and will lob a lot closer here and can be one of the first dogs behind the red. No way she can hold him off. He only needs to go around untouched to win and we are getting an EW price to get involved. If he doesn’t win, he should at least run 2nd so bet EW. GROUP 1 FEATURE PREVIEW AT THE MEADOWS THE ZOOM TOP Race 5 No. 4 Line of Quality and No. 8 Untapped The 8 will spear out and look to lead these and she is a bold front running stayer. The last bit can sometimes test but she can open them up on the arm if she gets it. The 4 will roll out of the boxes like he just got out of bed, but once he balances up, he can reel off stupid sections and is impossible to hold off when his momentum is up and rolling. Great edition of the Zoom Top. 8 and 4 for us. THE ROOKIE REBEL Race 6 No. 3 Jarick Bale and No. 6 Aston Ulysses The 3 is one of the fastest middle distance dogs in the country and he can win this. Drawn to settle handy, they will have trouble holding him out. The 6 is going better than ever and can surprise here. Outstanding track and trip stats, astute trainer and will show up early and stick. The 1, Jungle Deuce, is a risk for mine. Playing 3 and 6. THE TEMLEE Race 8 No. 7 Zippy Tesla and No. 6 Do It Wonderful race with the champ Aston Rupee in box 4, facing a task with 3 early splitting and one very wide runner inside him. He needs to do everything right and can be tardy early. The 7 has an engine unlike most. Drops the clutch and unleashes paralysing sectionals up the back and late. His Silver Chief win was extraordinary. The 6 could get a run through the first turn here if he doesn’t step too well and he will look ominous up the back. If he found the arm at any stage it’s over. Playing both 7 and 6 EW. Market Market
