RACE 3 No.2 Violet

Consistent filly who makes the step up to 1815m off a fast closing mile effort here last start. Bringing up the rear on the home turn she passed every runner bar the in-form winner Vanna Girl who was able to take all the shortcuts along the fence. Baylee Nothdurft can give her the right run from a perfect alley and record a well-deserved metro win.

RACE 7 No.2 Plitvice

He’s gone to another level this prep winning two of his three runs back and I can’t see any reason the winning run can’t continue. Adin Thompson will take 3kg off his back which brings him down to 57kg, keep in mind he won here with 58kg two starts back when likely not quite at his peak. Just needs to find a position early and from there look out!

RACE 9 No.5 Emerald Kingdom

Robert Heathcote trained galloper who is absolutely flying this prep having won all three starts with the latest being clocked in extremely fast time. The form out of his races going forward has been outstanding with the likes of Invincible Al, Pizonie and Usmanov all winning in Saturday company over recent weeks. Can make use of the reasonable draw and keep building the picket fence!
