Glenn Ingram’s Wednesday Bendigo Preview Posted on August 11, 2026August 11, 2026 | Posted by Glenn Ingram Race 1 Small field, mix of debutants with exposed form, leaning the exposed form with GOLD CHALICE who gave a big sight in front on debut at Geelong on similar track conditions and only faded late. The well-bred colt can break through with a repeat on-speed effort in the small field. COME TOGETHER has had plenty of practice at the jumpouts, handled wet in jumpouts and bred to do so. Local HYDRO RUSH flying the flag for the locals, B Shinn a key booking, trials have been ok, watch betting. Selections: 3,1,4,6 Suggested Bet: GOLD CHALICE win Race 2 Could not take a short price about I AM ARIA after her recent Cranbourne jumpout. It was ok without suggesting she’s ready to fire but she does have extremely good form lines for this contest. Of the debutants, NOVAMIRA and ROJA CALIENTE have trialled best. The latter has had three jumpouts and found the line strongly in her latest, thought she was the way to place the race each-way. AMIRA DUBAI went ok in a recent Pak jumpout, would need a strong push to play. Selections: 8,5,3,1 Suggested Bet: ROJA CALIENTE ew Race 3 Loved the debut of ROCKZINO at this course over 1300m which proved too short, the step up in distance to 1600m is ideal and clearly the one to beat against moderate opposition. BELLABAMA best of the exposed form and racing consistently, again may find one better. ONLY OPERA is open to further improvement on her sound effort fresh, watch betting. KOYUGA RIP can give a sight in a race lacking speed. Selections: 3,4,6,1 Suggested Bet: ROCKZINO win Race 4 SKYDREAM hasn’t set the world on fire on race-day but can’t fault her recent efforts at the jumpouts, appears to have enjoyed the wet tracks in practice and strikes one first-up. ABAYA is a well-bred filly debuting for Godolphin and the Freedman’s and jumpouts suggest she will improve over further, wary of her fresh. GUARDIAN DETECTIVE another on debut from Mornington and was specked in betting as soon as markets opened. Hard to give a push on what’s been shown to date. Selections: 8,9,11,5 Suggested Bet: SKYDREAM win Race 5 If ROYAL RENDEZVOUS takes his place he will take a stack of beating from the 1000m chute start, jumpouts have him wound up fresh and this looks an ideal set-up from the wide gate. INSAIN HARRY has good speed and looks the leader, first-up. KIPPIS hasn’t lived up to her jumpout hype to date, has been well-backed on multiple occasions, and again sharp enough this campaign. NICEREIN was impressive in defeat at Sale first-up with market expectation. Finds a deep race. Selections: 6,5,12,10 Suggested Bet: ROYAL RENDEZVOUS win Race 6 Tricky race, many chances. WRITTEN GLOW was a noted drifter in betting at her Australian debut and pulled up lame. Two very good jumpouts since at Werribee and Flemington. Can improve sharply second-up. PRAISE HER trailed a fast speed winning in fast time at Pak on the synthetic. Now switches to a wet track, the unknown. SET ME LOOSE looks our leader and long with TAPO who has drawn the inside. YUUKI has a poor win s/r but did chase the impressive sub winner Cavalry Girl home last start. Selections: 11,10,5,6 Suggested Bet: WRITTEN GLOW 1 x 3 Race 7 LYRICS ‘N’ SONG was stakes placed early in her career, just one run last campaign, wet tracks may be her go if the jumpouts are any guide. Liked what she did in her latest, low draw may be a niggle. ELECTRIC ELVIS is very consistent and in-form for an in-form trainer Reece Goodwin. SAVOYARD has drawn a rough marble, should be hitting the line with luck in running first-up. CELESTIAL ZARA handled the wet conditions at Murtoa winning narrowly first-up. Trialled ok prior. Selections: 13,6,4,12 Suggested Bet: LYRICS N SONG e/w Race 8 IS THAT ALL can run a race at odds in the final event, now third-up, he’s been competitive in two strong races this campaign and maps well from the middle gate. PENTLE BAY is another who can show up after chasing home sub winner PERFECT TEN last start, significant drop in grade puts him in contention with any luck in running. TEL ALIV is racing well but this is a tougher assignment now. OLLANDIA BEACH is off a let-up so fitness query but may give a sight leading from the inside. Selections: 12,4,14,9 Suggested Bet: IS THAT ALL 1 x 3 Market Market
