Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on February 21, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets Race 1 No. 3 Deference Interesting race to open up the day where James Cummings has 5 of the 8 acceptors including this one who has shown a definite liking for wet ground and that’s what we’ll be going around on tomorrow. Resumed a gelding recently when a little slow to begin giving away too much start at Warwick Farm before finding the line well late. Drops a stack in weight and will park a lot closer in the run this time. Good value. Race 4 No.1 White Moss Looks a match between this one and the Godolphin runner Savatiano. They both handle the damp ground without any issues however with the run under the belt I’m leaning the Warwick Farm mares way. That run was at weight for age in the Group 2 Expressway splitting Alizee and Kolding, not bad form for a race such as this! Race 6 No.8 Etana Hails from the very successful Maher/Eustace operation who’s horses travel very well and this one has been around a fair bit of late with her latest outings having been further north including a win at the Gold Coast on Magic Millions Day. Freshened up she has reportedly been working very well and the money trail to date backs that up, can see her getting a lovely run and the wet track won’t be any concern. Quaddie 6, 8, 9 1, 2, 5 2, 7, 8 5, 9, 13 Market Market
