The Scout: EPL Matchday 7 Posted on September 27, 2019October 1, 2019 | Posted by The Scout Bournemouth vs West Ham 28th September, 10pm WST This is a clash between two in-form teams as Bournemouth (6th) hosts West Ham (5th). The Cherries are on a two-game win streak with wins over Southampton and Everton. The Hammers are undefeated in five Premier League fixtures (3W-2D) and are full of confidence after a decisive 2-0 win over Manchester United. The Hammers have been blessed with quite an easy draw during their undefeated streak, but as they travel to Bournemouth, they face a side offensively potent unlike any of their past five opponents. Week in week out, we can always expect goals in a Bournemouth game. Both teams have scored in all of the Cherries Premier League fixtures, and five out of six of those matches have seen 3+ goals. Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson has been on a tear scoring five goals in his last three Premier League matches. Wilson plays as the deepest man for Bournemouth, and is a goal threat and the key target inside the box; especially on set pieces. In a match that should feature goals, Wilson to score looks the bet of the weekend. Suggested Bet: Callum Wilson Anytime Goal Scorer @ $2.60* Wolverhampton vs Watford 28th September, 10pm WST At the beginning of the season few would have predicted that this fixture would be the battle of the two bottom placed sides. Wolverhampton’s heroics last season feels like a lifetime ago. They are yet to win a match this season and their usual rock-solid defense appears to be non-existent, conceding in every match barring their 0-0 opener with Leicester. The Hornets are a real threat to drop out of the top flight after their own disastrous start. Sitting dead last on the Premier League table, Watford have the worst defense and worst offense in the league. For Wolves, this match is a must-win. They have a strong record at home, with their loss earlier this month to Chelsea the only defeat at Molineux Stadium in 11 Premier League fixtures. In contrast, Watford’s away form has been horrible. The Hornets have only managed two wins in 11 Premier League fixtures, and these were against relegated sides Huddersfield and Cardiff. After a 8-0 demolition at the hands of Manchester City, The Hornets are travelling to Wolverhampton low on confidence and extremely vulnerable. I really think Wolves are too good of a side to be sitting this far down on the table and will prove as much here. Suggested Bet: Match Result Wolverhampton @ $1.90* Leicester vs Newcastle 29th September, 11.30pm WST Leicester have started their Premier League campaign off nicely, sitting third on the table with three wins, two draws and a loss. It’s been a different story for Newcastle (17th) who have had a string of disappointing results. Only managing four goals in six matches makes Newcastle the equal worst offense in the league, they lack finishing ability as well as creativity in finding goal scoring opportunities. Leicester’s only true blemish this season was a 1-0 loss to Manchester United, to which they responded with last week’s 2-1 win over Tottenham. Leicester have played particularly well at home where they have not been beaten in eight of their last nine matches. I think an in-form Leicester will take care of business here with plenty of quality looks on goal; while I’ll be surprised if Newcastle manage to score a single goal of their own. Suggested Bet: Leicester -1.5 @ $2.45* *Odds correct as at 8am, 27th September 2019. Market Market
