Race 1

MY GIRL ZARLIE was held up at a crucial stage last start and hit the line strongly when she got clear. TAVINO BAY coped well with the step up to 2100m last time and should strip fitter for the run in the distance range. DOUGHBOY HOLLOW led up in the race and will also strip fitter. STAR OF KONGO and THINKING MAN look place hopes.

Race 2

Limited if any vision of YIP YIP YIP running second first up but that form should measure up. LOCHEND UMOSA covered ground at her latest run and was entitled to tire, her previous form was good. GOLD MANUKA looks the other winning hope, she has returned in good form and will strip fitter third up.

Suggested Bet: Yip Yip Yip each way

Race 3

EASTERLY has always carried a bit of a wrap and has jumped out nicely against horses much better than maiden grade. MARAVICH ran well on debut, he gets winkers and looks suited stepping up in trip. The imported SPERANZOSO has jumped out well for his local debut, winning his most recent jumpout over 1600m. CLASSIC STORY defied his market price last start to hold on bravely.

Race 4

RIVER RIBBLE was below expectations last start and was given a quiet time in a recent jumpout. He is effective fresh and gets a tongue tie on. THE GUAVA has form that ties in with River Ribble and has also been freshened. DOULL gets blinkers first up and has jumped out ok. PRANCING SPIRIT has been jumping out well for his debut. WALTER SPUR ran well on heavy ground on debut and looked good in a recent jumpout without being tested.

Race 5

RIOYUKI was below expectations last start but the form around her is strong and she may appreciate a bit more galloping room. LAKE TAI is racing in great form and had a confidence booster last time. COBBLESTONE WAY broke his maiden in good style at The Valley and looks progressive. DESIGNER DREAMER appears the other key hope dropping in grade third up.

Suggested Bet: Rioyuki to win

Race 6

LA ZUCCA boasts a strong second up record, she did enough first up and a senior rider takes over. SOCIAL CONSCIENCE had excuses last start and has jumped out well between runs. EXCEL AND FLY and YOSEMITE come through the same race, there wasn’t much between them there and both have strong claims. LADY OF LIGHT won her maiden in good style last time.

Selections: 4,2,7,10

Suggested Bet: La Zucca each way

Race 7

Competitive finish. REMIX might need some luck from the draw but finds a suitable race. HIGH DONE will give a sight on speed and carries weight well. SAMEDI won an easier race in good style at his latest run. PEPPINO is flying at Stony Creek and can be competitive in this slightly stronger race. MORECORUBA can improve on better ground third up.
