Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Sale Preview Posted on October 4, 2022 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 Competitive race with the likelihood of a solid tempo. THINK I’M DIVINE hit the line well over 1000m first up and the form through that race has held up well. ENTREMET won with authority first up and looks suited stepping up to 1200m. MISS DUNSFORD has been jumping out well and will appreciate what should be a strong speed up front. LATVIAN is likely to be part of the speed, he will strip fitter third up and drops in grade. SQUAD was slowly away and out of play early last start, he is capable of better. Selections: 7,8,4,1 Suggested Bet: Think I’m Divine each way Race 2 Tricky race with a number of the first starters likely to feature. OVER SHADY copped a solid bump on the home first up and still worked home ok. She should appreciate the step up to 1108m. COUNT NICHOLAS was strong to the line in a recent jumpout at Sandown. HURRICANE THUNDER has also been jumping out well. DARAKAI got keen over 1300m last start. He has shown a degree of versatility in his runs to date and might be better suited dropping back in trip. Selections: 14,6,7,9 Suggested Bet: Over Shady each way Race 3 BOOBOO BOOGIE stuck on well after covering ground on debut. The step up to 1419m should suit. SUTADAMU ran well first up and should also appreciate a rise in trip. ZOUPERB was well in the market and ran accordingly on debut. She has been jumping out nicely and looks suited first up at this trip. GOLD TRACKER did enough on debut. Blinkers go on for an in form stable and the rise in distance looks suitable. KNIGHTJAR jumped out well out wide on the course proper at Flemington recently. Selections: 11,12,9,6 Suggested Bet: Booboo Boogie each way Race 4 Plenty with a chance here. PARIS AFFAIR ran well on heavy ground on debut. He couldn’t sprint with the winner and looks suited stepping up to this trip. ARMALITE could be a big improver dropping in grade from a good draw on firmer ground that last start. MAKRANA hit the line well over 1400m on debut. MEINLAS has jumped out well recently, the stable is very good at getting horses ready for this sort of trip on debut. TRANSZAM ended up in an awkward spot first up but still worked home ok. Selections: 8,6,11,2 Suggested Bet: Paris Affair each way Race 5 ROSE DIOR is racing in good form, she goes well here and should appreciate what appears to be a solid tempo. NOTABADBUY will be part of the speed, he won well last start and should strip even fitter. ROZNAMLA had jumped out well leading in to his first up run. He looks suited stepping up in distance and maps for a good run. DANGERS was below market expectations last time but his previous run was good enough to be in the mix. Selections: 6,5,8,7 Suggested Bet: Rose Dior each way Race 6 TAGOMAGO is unknown beyond 1600m, but hit the line strongly last start and gives the impression she will cope with this trip. CLINCHED comes through a race that ties a bit of this form together and worked home well on that occasion. DAHWILLY comes through the same race as Clinched and maps for a soft run. COGENT should be at peak fitness and can improve getting away from the heavy tracks he’s been encountering of late. NEWZEEL DEAL doesn’t win often but has some claims. Selections: 5,1,2,4 Suggested Bet: Tagomago to win Race 7 Some promising mares here. EXTREME STEP got an outstanding ride to win last start and should be at peak fitness. QUEEN OF THE GREEN created a good impression winning on debut and should be improved from that outing. INVINCIBLE CAVIAR carries the expectation of being a daughter of Black Caviar. She has done well in her brief career to date and her recent jumpouts have been solid. BLISTERING is capable first up, she has also been jumping out quite well. MERLIN’S CHARM is another mare with upside. Selections: 5,7,6,1 Suggested Bet: Extreme Step each way Race 8 If HESKET makes the field, he looks well suited stepping up to 1419m third up. BARRETTA has trialled well to resume and looks capable of progressing on to better races. REBEL’S CHOICE chased an in-form mare last start and should appreciate the rise in trip. THE DUKE OF DUBAI is fit and racing well. CARLISLE will strip fitter and is a previous second up winner. PERFECT WORLD did enough first up and is also a second up winner. OCEAN CHIEF has jumped out nicely to resume at a suitable trip. Selections: 14,6,12,8 Suggested Bet: Working around 14 & 6 Market Market
