Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Bendigo Preview Posted on November 8, 2022November 8, 2022 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 GRAND BAIE got bumped around on a few occasions in the home straight on debut and under the circumstances her run was full of merit. TIZ MY BAY hit the line well first up and looks a strong danger stepping up to 1600m. OUR TOTAL RECALL looks suited by the rise in trip, as do MUSELET (blinkers first time) and STILLWATER. Selections: 8,7,9,4 Suggested Bet: Grand Baie each way Race 2 MAGNASPIN has run well in much stronger races and has jumped out well to resume. MONDO had some excuses when things got tight late last start and all his runs to date have been encouraging. THINK I’M DIVINE comes through the same race as Mondo and has claims. INSURGENCE backs up after running well in a similar race here last week. SONOFTHEBEAST will give a sight on speed. Stablemates PHAROSE and PHAIR PLAN looks suited resuming at this trip. Selections: 6,7,10,2 Suggested Bet: Magnaspin to win Race 3 SHANGHAI VENTURE was responsible for an improved performance last start and looks suited stepping up to 1300m. GIRL ran well, without the best of luck in the home straight, when on debut in the same race as Shanghai Venture. DAME CHEVAL is another that didn’t have the best of luck last start. GRINZINGER BURG has been jumping out nicely and looks suited at 1300m on a spacious track on debut. DUNALOCE and MISS SASSY have claims in an open race. Selections: 11,4,2,5 Suggested Bet: Shanghai Ventur each way Race 4 Plenty of chances. KING NEPTUNE worked home strongly on debut over 1000m and looks suited at 1100m. SHOOTOOSE has had a few tries but is jumping out nicely to resume. IDRIS is another that has been jumping out well to resume as have RUSSIAN SUMMER and BEAUTIFIL TO ME. RED CUT ROCK, ENUFF GOLD have a hope. CAUSE FOR CONCERN makes his debut on the back of some encouraging jumpouts. Selections: 8,3,7,9 Suggested Bet: King Neptune each way Race 5 LIGHT UP THE MOON should be close to peak fitness and worked home well here in a similar race last start. REDSONG beat Light Up The Moon home last start and has a case. ADONIS KICK will ride the speed and give a sight. That form ties in ROSABEEL and OCEAN HEART. YARRAWONGA covered ground at his only Australian start and could improve without surprising. Selections: 9,4,1,10 Suggested Bet: Light Up The Moon each way Race 6 SCREWED DOWN should be strong late with blinkers on back to 1100m. MISS MELBOURNE has been jumping out well to resume and generally fires first up. FRANCINE will strip fitter third up and give a sight riding the speed. DROP THE VERSE is lightly raced with upside, there was plenty to like about his maiden win first up. HE’S ESSENTIAL has jumped out well to resume following his maiden victory. Selections: 2,7,9,13 Suggested Bet: Screwed Down each way Race 7 IN DUE TIME has plenty of talent and is one of the more intriguing runners of the day. He resumes without any trials or jumpouts and the market closer to the race may provide a lead. COMANCHE NORTH had a fruitful first prep on wet ground, he’s been jumping out well to resume. FOTURI didn’t have much luck first up. SAVVY SOVEREIGN has been jumping out well to resume. COSNIC RHAPSODY and BROADSIDE ARMOUR both ran well first up and are in the mix. Selections: 3,5,8,9 Suggested Bet: In Due time each way Race 8 Deep race with plenty of chances. THE DUKE OF DUBAI was outstanding after blowing the start at Caulfield. THIS SKILLED CAT races well here and looks suited at 1600m third up. HIGHLAND JAKK will be hitting the line strongly first up, he also races well here. OCEANA BLUE will strip fitter second up and is likely to appreciate a firmer track. OCEAN CHIEF had a tough run first up, the wide draw over 1600m here is not too bad. STANDOFF was good in the greys race at Flemington. AIR DEFENCE is another with a hope in an open event. Selections: 5,7,1,10 Suggested Bet: The Duke Of Dubai each way Race 9 HOLYMANZ won well on debut on heavy ground, if he can transfer that form to a drier surface then he should measure up well to this tougher race. CELEBRITY BEAU won well on debut in NZ and has jumped out ok for the new stable without his raceday blinkers. NO DRAMA should appreciate a rise in distance and a more spacious track than last start. KNIGHTJAR won his maiden in good style last start after overcoming some difficulties. UNTOUCHABLE ED, RUSSIAN RONI and LUNA DIVA are in the mix for multiples. Selections: 11,1,8,13 Suggested Bet: Holymanz to win Market Market
