Warren Huntly’s Saturday Pakenham Preview Posted on December 2, 2022December 2, 2022 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 BRAYDEN STAR impressed at his first Australian start and should appreciate the rise in trip. MATRON BULLWINKEL has been kept fresh since her Flemington win and has jumped out nicely between runs. FLASH FEELING backs up from an even run and drops in grade. STATION ONE looks the likely leader and can give sight. Selections: 7,12,5,3 Suggested Bet: Brayden Star to win Race 2 Competitive race. MY YANKEE GIRL has jumped out well to resume and will appreciate the spacious track. NO SECRET brings solid NZ form and has been jumping out nicely. BLISTERING is racing well and looks suited coming back in trip. ADELE AMOUR had no luck in the same race as Blistering last time. THRONTARI will strip fitter will be strong late. Selections: 1,12,5,7 Suggested Bet: My Yankee Girl each way Race 3 Even race with a solid tempo likely. JUST JOHNNO has jumped out well to resume and will appreciate a solidly run race. JUCCONI is effective first up and was given a solid hit out winning a recent jumpout. INVINCIBLE CAVIAR had excuses when pulling up with a degree of lameness last start. SIG POSITANO likes it here and has been given some quiet jumpouts recently. JUNGLE JIM is another to be jumping out well and looks part of the speed. AIRCLASH has claims on the fresh side. Selections: 13,5,15,1 Suggested Bet: Just Johnno each way Race 4 SQUID GAME has been given a couple of quiet jumpouts and will be hitting the line strongly. NAJEM SUHAIL comes back slightly in trip but has raced himself into form and the wide draw looks suitable. ALONG THE RIVER’S form ties in the Najem Suhail and the wide draw should be no disadvantage. DANCE TO DUBAI is good first up and has jumped out well. Selections: 3,4,11,9 Suggested Bet: Squid Game each way Race 5 DUSSE is building an impressive record and has plenty of upside, she looks destined to contest much better races. BOLDINHO had no luck last start in the race won by PORT ALBERT and both have strong claims. FISSION comes through that same race and must also have claims. CHESTER WARRIOR has jumped out well to resume, his form ties in with RIVER RIBBLE, who has also jumped out nicely. RED CARD is fit and in form. Selections: 2,1,3,10 Suggested Bet: Dusse to win Race 6 FELICIA is generally effective fresh and has jumped out in great style for the new stable. CORNER POCKET has also jumped out well and maps for a soft run. SCISSOR STEP will strip fitter third up and may be looking for 1200m now. UMGAWA ran through the line strongly in a recent jumpout and looks in terrific order for his first up run. NOT TO BE MIST and SIXBYSIXTYTHREE have claims in a deep race. Selections: 3,1,8,15 Suggested Bet: Felicia each way Race 7 KISSINGER rises in grade, but he’s racing in great form and stays down in the weights. His Port Philip form from two runs back ties in with High Emocean. FUTURE SCORE is one of a few that is still on the up this preparation and was in inferior ground over the concluding stages of the Ballarat Cup. MILFORD backs up from his win in the Eclipse over 1800m, he ran second in the NZ Derby over 2400m as a 3yo. NOBEL HEIGHTS is another that may be still on the up and he can make his own luck. Selections: 6,3,2,8 Suggested Bet: Kissinger each way Race 8 LOOKS LIKE ELVIS is a ripper, he won this race last year and has trialled well to resume. JIMMY THE BEAR has been freshened since running ok in the Golden Eagle from a wide draw, he looks a strong danger. REGARDSMAREE has been freshened and had the benefit of a tick over jumpout between runs. PAL D’ORO and NICOLINI VITO look the other main chances. Selections: 2,5,1,10 Suggested Bet: Looks Like Elvis to win Race 9 ARRAN BAY was well backed first up at Cranbourne, he’ll strip fitter and looks suited by the rise in trip. BELTORO will likely settle back from the wide draw but he’ll be hitting the line strongly. CHICAGO BEAR didn’t have the best of luck at his first Australian run in the same race as Beltoro. TYPHOON HARMONY will be at peak fitness now and will appreciate firmer ground than last start. SEINERS EXPRESS pulled up with cardiac arrythmia at his most recent run. Selections: 8,4,5,13 Suggested Bet: Arran Bay each way Market Market
