Race 1: ALLWOOD STUD FARM MARES MS PACE

MAIA MAGUIRE (1) has been buried away on the pegs at her last two runs but she led and was only run down by Sheer Rocknroll four starts back. She has drawn perfectly and will give them something to catch if she holds up. DONEGAL RUNDLESCREEK (5) was crossed and didn’t get clear in a similar field and should be in the finish here. THE SPINSTER (9) is the best mare in the event at her best but resumes here without a trial and is drawn wide. GIULIANA RANCIC (10) looks a good place from this draw.

Tips: 1 5 9 10

Suggested Bet: MAIA MAGUIRE (1) to win.

Race 2: FOLLOW THE STARS AT ALLWOOD STUD MS PACE

THE PUBLISHER (1) finished 2nd to Herrick Roosevelt and then Mitch Maguire before winning a weaker event at GP. He is drawn perfectly and looks the winner tonight. THE STORM CHIEF (6) has been racing consistently and will be running on strongly. HAWKEYE BROMAC (12) is back to his best, winning two of his last three and has the strength to overcome a back line draw. EL SUNAMI (10) should get a nice run in transit and shouldn’t be far away.

Race 3: LOMBO MANDINGO AT ALLWOOD STUD MS PACE

AMERICANBOOTSCOOTA (9) has won three of his last four against stronger fields than this. He is drawn wide but looks to have a class edge on his opposition. BILLY MACK (12) was a good winner in a weaker field before having a nice run and finishing 3rd to AMERICANBOOTSCOOTA (9) and can be placed again. YACKANDAH (8) finished down the track behind Kerrin Joseph last start but should be thereabouts on his previous form. A BIT RUTHLESS (6) led when a close 3rd here two starts back and could give some cheek.

Race 4: FLY LIKE AN EAGLE AT ALLWOOD STUD MS PACE

CAMPORA (1) has been unplaced at his last three but they have all been from bad barriers. He gets the draw tonight and should lead and win. FROSTYFLYER (7) was 2nd in a blistering 1.52.6 last week and will be running on tonight. SIGHTSEEING ANVIL (2) led throughout to beat a stronger field last week and shouldn’t be far away. JAXON FELLA (10) looks a good place hope from his trailing draw.

Tips: 1 7 2 10

Suggested Bet: CAMPORA (1) to win.

Race 5: ALLWOOD STUD – THE HIDDEN GEM OF THE SWAN VALLEY THE CHANDON QUALIFYING HEAT 1

ZACH MAGUIRE (2) was unlucky in consecutive starts before being suited by the early tempo when an impressive 1.52.6 winner last week. He is nicely drawn and looks hard to beat again. NATURAL DISASTER (10) has been ultra-impressive in winning his two starts after a break and will be hard to hold out with any luck from this barrier. EL HOMBRE (1) is flying and would be a huge chance if he can muster enough speed to lead. NEW WORLD ORDER (4) was a good 2nd last start and is always thereabouts.

Tips: 2 10 1 4

Race 6: MARE & FOAL AGISTMENT AVAILABLE AT ALLWOOD STUD MS PACE

CHICAGO BULL (7) is the best horse in the state and has resumed with two scintillating victories. This field is stronger but he should go on his winning way. BEAUDIENE BOAZ (9) bounced back to something like his best with a 1.54.8 win last week but is drawn outside his stablemate. BILLIES A STAR (2) is clearly the 3rd best pacer in this field at his top but it has been a while since we’ve seen that. JAMBIANI (1) looks a good place chance from the draw.

Tips: 7 9 2 1

Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (7) to win.

Race 7: ALLWOOD STUD 2YO GOLD BRACELET

INFINITE SYMBOL (1) won three on end before running consecutive 2nds to Cott Beach from this draw. Clint Hall is in the cart tonight and she gets the chance to win a Classic. CIMORENE (2) won the Diamond Classic two starts back and then couldn’t get into the race from a bad draw last week but has the barrier to be in the finish tonight. THE WAR NURSE (4) ran two nice placings before being disqualified for going inside the pegs and should be thereabouts. COURAGEOUS ELLE (10) is drawn to be a good place chance.

Race 8: ALLWOOD STUD FARM SPECIALISING IN AI MS PACE

KEEPER OF KEYS (1) has been unplaced from awkward draws at his last three starts but led throughout in good time before that. He has a perfect draw and gets his chance over the sprint trip tonight. THE REVOLUTION (4) finished 4th in a stronger field last start and should be thereabouts. MAKO SHADOW (9) will need a solid tempo but did win from this draw last start and can’t be overlooked. JUMPING AT SHADOWS (8) is an inconsistent type but would be a hope if he displays his best.

Suggested Bet: KEEPER OF KEYS (1) to win.

Race 9: YEARLING PREPARATION AVAILABLE AT ALLWOOD STUD 2YO MS PACE

GOLDEN STATE (6) has won two his three race starts and has plenty of ability. He is drawn the widest here in a competitive field but should give a great sight. ANTERO (5) has finished 2nd at his last three starts, the latest being only 5.7m behind Jack Mac and won’t be far away again. ROCK ME OVER (2) worked hard when finishing down the track behind Highroller Joe last week and will improve with an easier trip. DEEP BLUE (1) was blocked for a run in the same race and can utilise the pole draw tonight.

Suggested Bet: GOLDEN STATE (6) to win.

Race 10: WWW.ALLWOODSTUD.COM.AU 3YO WESTBRED FILLIES MS PACE

MILEYS DESIRE (11) has only missed a place once in her last six starts and won her first race at Wagin three runs back. She was a nice 3rd to Lady Luca last start and that is good form for this moderate affair. BLACKJACK ANNA (12) finished 2nd in the same race and looks a major player despite the draw. SUSIE ROCKS (3) trialled nicely in preparation for her debut and wouldn’t have to be a star to win tonight. WHITBYS GAMBLE (4) has finished near the rear at her two runs back from a spell but can improve here.
