Race 1

ILLAWONG MUSTANG (1) has finished just behind the placegetters recently but he led throughout from this draw late last year and should give a great sight over the sprint trip. THE MIKI TAKER (5) is the class runner of the field but is drawn awkwardly and is better suited over a longer journey. LUCAPELO (2) and OUR SHELLEY BEACH (3) are both well drawn and can figure in the finish.

Race 2

LIL HAPPY FELLA (1) hasn’t had much luck recently but is drawn to be prominent throughout and should prove hard to beat. SOHO SANTORINI (10) was a close-up 5th in a stronger field here last week and will be charging home if he sees daylight at the right time. OTIS (2) was an eye-catching 2nd here last week and has the strength to make his presence felt tonight. SHOWPONY (8) is racing without luck and will need some breaks to overcome the wide draw.

Suggested Bet: LIL HAPPY FELLA (1) to win.

Race 3

CHAL PATCH (8) has a wide draw to overcome but he has been tackling stronger fields and should fight out the finish. IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (2) led throughout in 1.54.3 at his last start and is also capable of racing well with a sit. FLYING RUMOUR (5) is in career-best form and is ready for the rise in class. WONDERFUL TO FLY (7) was blown away by Steno here last week but is a capable sit-sprinter who will be charging home.

Race 4

ARMA EINSTEIN (6) has been placed in nine of his past 11 starts and will be charging home here if there is a solid tempo. HAMPTON BANNER (5) trialled nicely behind Swingband for his return and will give them something to catch if he can cross at the start. SOHO DOW JONES (2) was held up when 5th to Pinny Tiger here last week and has options in the early stages. ALCOPONY (4) was a solid 3rd in that event and can make his presence felt again.

Suggested Bet: ARMA EINSTEIN (6) each way.

Race 5

TEN TO THE DOZEN (1) led throughout to defeat a similar field at his last start and is clearly the one to beat from the pole tonight. THENU CAME ALONG (3) chased hard when a 1.7m 2nd to his stablemate in that event and shouldn’t be far away again. MENEMSHA (6) will strip fitter for his first-up 4th behind the favoured pair but is again drawn awkwardly. UBEEN THUNDASTRUCK (10) doesn’t have the class of some of his rivals but is drawn to get a nice run and can be placed.

Suggested Bet: TEN TO THE DOZEN (1) to win.

Race 6

WATER LOU (12) did all of the work when a gallant 2nd to COPY CAT QUEEN (4) at her last start and is capable of overcoming the back line draw. COPY CAT QUEEN (4) had all the favours when defeating a similar field first up but did win in blistering time and must be respected again. XCEPTIONAL ARMA (9) disappointed in that event but her previous form was very consistent and she looks the other winning chance. I CROSS MY HEART (1) is yet to miss a place in seven starts and should be thereabouts from the pole.

Race 7

CONTROL THE ROOM (10) has impressed in facing the breeze and finishing 2nd in both starts and he is drawn to get a softer run tonight and should be charging home. THE BETTOR SIDE (4) had no luck in his heat and looks a promising type who will be suited by this draw. LOUIE VEE (6) has led throughout to win in good time at his two race starts and must be respected again despite the draw. MYSTA MOON WALKER (2) has showed plenty of gate speed in his two starts and will give a great sight if he can cross the polemarker in the early stages.

Suggested Bet: CONTROL THE ROOM (10) to win.

Race 8

HIGHVIEW HEIDI (1) showed gate speed when a strong 2nd in her heat and should give a great sight from the pole. CRUNCHEE (4) was caught in the breeze when a gallant 2nd in the quickest heat and must be respected on that effort. BULL SHARK BETTY (8) is drawn poorly but shown a nice turn of foot when defeating HIGHVIEW HEIDI (1) and can’t be overlooked. RUBY LOU (5) has won two of her three race starts and looks a professional type.

Suggested Bet: HIGHVIEW HEIDI (1) to win.

Race 9

NEVERMINDTHECHAOS (1) was crossed from this draw before she retook the lead and won in 1.55.6 first-up. She will be fitter for that effort and is the one to beat but the start will be important. SOLESSEO MATUCA (9) has disappointed since producing and eye-catching 3rd first-up but has changed stables and could be an improver. CYCLONE CHARLOTTE (8) couldn’t make ground in a 54.8 last half here last week but can make her presence felt tonight. REGAL CHEVAL (5) led throughout here two starts back and can fly the gate.

Tips: 1 9 8 5

Suggested Bet: SOLESSEO MATUCA (9) each way.

Race 10

ARDENS HORIZON (1) is racing extremely consistently and will be very hard to catch if he steps to the front from the pole. LUCCA (2) wasn’t put into the race here last week but must be considered on his previous form. MISTER MONTBLANC (5) defeated ARDENS HORIZON (1) at his last start but loses the handicap advantage tonight. CHEDDAR IS BETTER (3) is a quick beginner who can be placed with the right run.

Suggested Bet: ARDENS HORIZON (1) to win.

Race 11

MIKI JET (8) was an effortless winner here on Tuesday and is clearly the one to beat despite the wide draw. COOPER (1) led then trailed Nevermindthechaos at his last start and looks a great place chance again. COWBOYS N BANDITS (6) hasn’t been able to get into the race at his last two starts but could push forward at the start and be in the finish. THE KRAKEN (10) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and can be placed.

Suggested Bet: MIKI JET (8) to win.

Race 12

FRANCO ENCORE (7) has only won one of his seven career starts but has been racing in strong 3YO company and will appreciate the drop in class. HERE COMES SHARKIE (8) has finished runner-up at his last three starts and will be running on again. MADDY ROCKS (3) has finished 3rd in all three of those events and can be in the money again. SIDSTREPO (1) has only been placed in one of his past 11 starts but won’t be far away from the pole.
