The Scout: NFL Week 12 Posted on November 27, 2021November 27, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Cleveland Browns vs Baltimore Ravens The Browns (6-5) bounced back after their embarrassing loss to the Patriots by beating the Lions 13-10. The Ravens (7-3) have had some inconsistent form of late but grinded out a 16-3 win last week over the Chicago Bears. Cleveland was decimated by the Patriots 45-7 in their worst defeat this season and their poor form continued as they only just managed to beat the worst team in the NFL, the winless Lions. To make matters worse for the Browns, quarterback Baker Mayfield has been playing through shoulder and knee injuries that are clearly affecting his performance. Browns will welcome back running back Kareem Hunt but his inclusion may not create any chance for the them. Baltimore has allowed the second-fewest rushing yards and will be able to contain the impressive rush duo of Hunt and Nick Chubb. The Browns look weak and with Mayfield clearly not even close to his best I think the Ravens will come away with the win. Suggested Bet: Ravens -3.5 (Line) @ $1.91* Tennessee Titans @ New England Patriots The Tennessee Titans (8-3) had their six-game win streak come to a screeching halt with a disappointing 22-13 loss to the Texans while the New England Patriots (7-4) recorded their 5th win in a row after destroying the Falcons 25-0. The Patriots are one of the best teams in the league right now and much of this can be thanks to rookie quarterback Mac Jones who is playing lights out. Jones has averaged 236 passing yards so far this season and has built great chemistry with tight end Hunter Henry who has 7 touchdowns to his name. Tennessee sits atop of the AFC however the loss against the Texans was alarming as the Titans could finally be cracking. It’s no secret that the Titans have started to struggle with injuries, not only losing star Derrick Henry but their whole roster has been ravaged. Linebacker Bud Dupree and receiver A.J. Brown are among more Titans players that are added to the injury list. New England have been on top of their game defensively and have only allowed opponents an average of only 135 passing yards and 72.3 rushing yards over their last three games. On the other side of the ball Mac Jones is playing can’t be faulted and has completed over 80 percent of his passes in back-to-back weeks. The Patriots are in form right now and will take advantage of a banged-up Tennessee side, this should be a comfortable win for the home side. Suggested Bet: Patriots -6.5 (Line) @ $1.91* Los Angeles Rams @ Green Bay Packers The Los Angeles Rams (7-3) travel to the Green Bay Packers (8-4) in what is shaping up to be a great battle between two of the leagues best teams. Last week’s bye was perfectly timed for the Rams who can regroup after two back-to-back losses to the 49ers and Titans. The week off also enables Los Angeles to get some practice in with their two new recruits, Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller. Green Bay will be without two of their starters from their offensive line with Elgton Jenkins and David Bakhtiari which should allow Aaron Donald plenty of opportunity to break through Green Bay’s line and disrupt Aaron Rodgers. Despite being undefeated at home, the Packers are in a tough spot against the Rams who match up well against them. Matthew Stafford will look forward to the opportunity to link up with Beckham Jr while Aaron Donald on the defensive end will get things done for the Rams. Suggested Bet: Rams -1 (Line) @ $1.77* *Odds correct as at 9am, 27th November 2021. Market Market
