The Scout: NBA Best Bets

Orlando Magic vs Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks have rattled off three comfortable wins with back-to-back-to-back margins of 15, 14 and 15 points.

As he does, Giannis has put the Bucks on his back averaging 31 points and 15 rebounds this series. Game 1 aside, he has done as he pleases but will the Bucks look to rest him if/when this gets beyond the Magic?

Orlando are no match for Milwaukee and it’s hard to picture them pinching Game 5 here. The Bucks will undoubtedly have an eye towards the Conference Semifinals, and I think that opens the door for Orlando to keep this one close.

Suggested Bet: Orlando Magic +13.5 (Line) @ $1.97*

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Houston Rockets

Oklahoma City have squared this series at 2-2, leaning on a 30 point explosion from Dennis Schroder to get the win in Game 4.

Russell Westbrook will miss this game, but Houston have shown they are more than capable without him, surrounding James Harden with shooters, and letting him go to work.

Houston won the first two games by a combined 28 points and I’m expecting this to be a bounce back game for them, as they look to take back control of the series.

Suggested Bet: Rockets 11+ (Margin) @ $3.60*

Portland Trail Blazers vs Los Angeles Lakers

With Damian Lillard out for Game 5 (sprained knee) this series looks to be over.

The Lakers shook off the last bit of “bubble rust” in Game 4, scoring a massive 80 points in the first half with LeBron (as always) at the forefront of their play.

You can’t put into words what Lillard means to this Portland team. With him gone, it’s hard to see where their energy, spirit and scoring will come from.

Anthony Davis was +37 in just under 18 minutes in Game 4 and I think this game, similarly, will be over early.

Suggested Bet: Los Angeles 11+ (Margin)
