The Scout: EPL Matchday 26 Posted on February 6, 2020February 6, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Sheffield United vs Bournemouth A gritty win over Crystal Palace has Sheffield United (pre-season favourites for relegation) ahead of Manchester United on the Premier League table in 6th. A win this weekend could see them jump to 5th, becoming a genuine top four threat. Bournemouth (16th) have won their last two, but have been awful away from home, losing six of their last seven. They’ve also failed to score in each of their last three road assignments. A lack of goalscoring threats for Bournemouth plays right into the hands of Sheffield United’s game plan, with the Blades losing just twice at home in their last eight, while securing five clean sheet victories at home this season. Sheffield United will look to suffocate Bournemouth here, and with the Cherries going goalless in six of their last nine Premier League away games, I like their chances of succeeding. Suggested Bet: Sheffield United Win to Nil @ $2.60* Everton vs Crystal Palace Everton (9th) are heading in the right direction under Carlo Ancelotti, having lost just once in 10 Premier League matches since he came onboard. Crystal Palace (14th) have not won a Premier League match since December 21st and are just six points clear of the relegation zone. Ancelotti has worked wonders with this roster. One player in particular who has flourished has been English youngster Dominic Calvert-Lewin (10 goals for the season) who has two goals in his last three games. Calvert-Lewin has been the highest player on the ground for Everton and is incredibly dangerous on the counter-attack. The Eagles have conceded at least one goal in their last four Premier League away games, and should be giving up a few very good chances here against in in-form Everton. Suggested Bet: Dominic Calvert-Lewin Anytime Goalscorer @ $2.05* Norwich City vs Liverpool Relegation looks all but certain for Norwich who have struggled with their promotion to the Premier League. They’ve won just one of their last 11 games, and find themselves last on the table. Liverpool (in stark contrast) are 22 points clear of second place, amassing 73 of a possible 75 points on the season. Home or away, Liverpool have decimated the competition all season long. On the road they are averaging 2.2 goals per game and should have plenty of chances here against Norwich. Norwich have conceded more goals than any other team this season and to say that they’ll have their hands full against Salah and co here would be a massive understatement. I’m expecting a blowout. Suggested Bet: Liverpool WIN & Over 3.5 goals @ $2.80 * *Odds correct as at 4pm, 6th February 2020. Market Market
