Scott Embry’s Wednesday Pinjarra Preview Posted on April 16, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 NOT TO BE MIST is no doubt going to stretch out over further into the preparation but is undefeated after just the one impressive debut effort last campaign. Pike was swinging off him in a recent trial and he can keep his record intact. ADAMUS hasn’t been knocked around at trials and showed good ability last preparation. LIPSTICK FLICKERS could take up the running and give a sight in front. LIDO BEACH next best. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 7 – 4 Suggested Bet – NOT TO BE MIST WIN Race 2 TO RISE AGAIN really improved when Jordan Turner elected to take up the running at his most recent assignment. Troy Turner jumps on and you would expect he will try to clear a few runners early. PRINCE DEVOUTLY will have a lot of supporters and trialed like a horse who will win plenty of races. Lay in very badly at his first trial. Interesting to see how he goes down the straight. DINKUM GIRL went very close last start and has invaluable 1000m straight experience. ALL TRUMPS has some ability but will wait for shades. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 6 – 3 Suggested Bet – TO RISE AGAIN WIN Race 3 MAGIC EMPIRE was beaten fair and square after enjoying an economical run in transit in a Saturday metro maiden last start. The one who beat him might be a nice improving type and the form can hold strong here. GINGER MACK never really got going on debut and went to the line relatively untested. Keep safe. AVALON BAY was hard in the market last start and not a bad run in defeat. FRIAR’S MOON can improve sharply second-up. Numbers: 4 – 7 – 5 – 9 Suggested Bet – MAGIC EMPIRE WIN Race 4 MIA DOLCE is well placed into a Set weights and Penalties race. Has won a race and races against maidens, gets in with 56kg and drops out of the juvenile features. Big run in the Gimcrack when off the track throughout and then had no luck in a forgettable Karakatta. If she still has something in the tank she goes close. JOYRIZE draws a gate and showed on debut that she’ll be winning races. LIKE HIM A HEAP showed a bit at trials and draws the pole. POMME can run a race on debut at odds. Numbers: 5 – 6 – 2 – 9 Suggested Bet – MIA DOLCE WIN Race 5 INFLATION lost all winning chance shortly after the start first-up. From the outside if he can jump with them expect Dan Staeck to roll forwards and sit in the breeze or cross them. He should be hard to beat. CHIEF ARCHER won well on debut in a race which could prove a handy form reference. Looks to have ability. PATRISTIC was big fresh and a shade disappointing 7 days later. FETCH MORE AMMO sits off them and will be saved for one “here comes Boy Hill right down the outside on Fetch More Ammo with a blistering run”. Numbers: 4 – 2 – 6 – 7 Suggested Bet – INFLATION WIN Race 6 FRIAR’S FANCY is a bit of a query at the trip but this is not a deep Class 3 race. Drawn to sit close handy and never got a crack at them last start. Can give this a shake around the $8 – $10 mark. ROYAL STRATA loomed the winner last start and has mainly Saturday form from the last few months. Can win this without surprising. DUCK FEET was a nice winner last start and Louis is beginning to make his mark. EVERYMILE A MEMORY has been a bit off this prep. She gets her chance with a soft draw. Numbers: 7 – 4 – 1 – 2 Suggested Bet – FRIAR’S FANCY EACHWAY Race 7 SHE’S VITAL is a 1000m Pinjarra straight winner. That is a big assistance and Jade McNaught is in career best form. Well placed here and looks hard to beat in the last. FIRE MAKER drops in grade and is a dual 1000m straight winner. DISCO RIFFIC was a drifter first-up and only went fair. Improves into this. WEST FIFTH FOURTH has always shown ability. Shades on and from a noted first-up stable. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – SHE’S VITAL EACHWAY Race 8 DOC FRIAR should only keep improving. Was well in the market last start when going under a beaten favourite but got a long way out of her ground on that occasion. From the draw if she can settle midfield will be the one they have to hold out. EYE ART is not without a chance and draws to sit in the box seat. TORTINA goes round week in, week out. Willis’ Daisy Express. She will pinch another. OUR GIRL MARLI does look like she will stay. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 11 – 5 Suggested Bet – DOC FRIAR WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 2,4 1,2,3,4,5,7 1,2,3,4,5 3,4,11 Market Market
