RACE 1

BIG MAN IN THE SKY really does pick himself on his debut effort. Worked hard early to cross from a wide gate before being run down only by Bright Diamond and subsequent dominant winner She’s Enchanted. From the draw should find the front and with natural improvement looks the winner. VENETIAN JEWEL was a flop in the same race but willing to forgive the effort. Tongue tie goes on and should park outside the favourite. KOHLEE is drawn to sit back along the cutaway and is dangerous from there. FIMOZZI draws his best gate of his short career and they all come from the same form race.

RACE 2

KING LUCIFER dropped a gear in a recent Belmont trial and dropped off Nuhad who came out on debut and demolished them in slick time. Steve Parnham has drawn a gate to sit in the first four in running and from there he should give a sight on debut. BETTER IN KIT is green and raw but clearly has a stack of natural talent. Great opportunity for Mollie Clark to kick one home in town. SNIPPILICIOUS trialled professionally on numerous occasions. Draw is sticky but he looks above average. CONTINUANCE will be a big price for an impressive trial winner.

RACE 3

ENDOVANERA returns to the races off the back of an impressive trial win at Lark Hill. Broke her maiden in dominant fashion back in December before being thrown in the deep end in Saturday 3 year old races. Finished within 4L of Holy Ghost, Snippy Miss and Prim and Proper before chasing round Indian Pacific, Guesteen and beating home We’ve Got Dreams. Great form for a race like this. BANK ON IT hasn’t been seen since breaking her maiden at Cranborne for Phillip Stokes. Resumes with Lindsey Smith and brings an element of unknown. SMART PRINCESS will come out running to try and find a position. Scratched from Saturday to save for this. ALEXIS OLYMPIA has been beaten out of sight last three but keep safe.

RACE 4

THE NINTH HOUR should be able to hold a far better position in running from the draw and his first-up run was excellent from an impossible position turning for home. Can’t come home much quicker than 33.57 and gets 3kg off Wanna Be Good from that race. When they fan along the cutaway he’ll get his chance. WANNA BE GOOD has only won 1 race in WA and that was when backing up off 4 days. Drops in grade and won’t find many better opportunities than this. ASCOT GOLD a definite improver from the draw with Jason Brown going aboard. COSMIC EYES dangerous up the cutaway off a soft run.

RACE 5

REWRITE THE STARS has only won the one race from seven outings but has run into some quality types including second placings to both Windstorm and Showmanship. From the draw Chris Parnham should have her in the first three or four in running and either shoots up the cutaway or comes around them turning for home. Looks a nice race for her. ANNIHILATOR carried 61kg first-up in a race run more than 3L faster than average. Really solid effort and drops down to a more suitable 58.5 here. PUCKAPUNYAL has trialled the house down and will come across to find a position on top of the speed. LEICA JAGUAR has been hitting the line powerfully over the short course.

RACE 6

MARXIAN can either lead or box seat from the inside draw. Was four months between runs two starts ago with 60.5kg over 1800 when making solid late ground and then last start was set alight from the 1000 when setting a race tempo more than 3L faster than average on a soft7 with 61kg. This looks the most suitable race for him so far this campaign. DARING SOLEIL comes from the same race and from three back the fence is a huge danger shooting up the cutaway. MERIVALE MAGIC and PEARLS FROM HEAVEN are both coming from the same race behind Fingermark in a C3 and both ran well.

RACE 7

KENDEL’S MEE DAD was well thought of last start in a Saturday Graduation when parking three deep the trip from gate 4. He loomed into the race but didn’t have a lot left after balancing for home. Strong race and should land a lovely position in running here. YEAH BRAVO doesn’t win out of turn but all three runs for Jody McLaughlin have been solid. Drawn gate 1, can box seat and wait for the cutaway run to appear. FIRESALE is going through the grades impressively. Will concede them a fair head start but is racing particularly well. GIFTED WARRIOR has been huge his last two but the draw makes it tough.

Suggested Bet – KENDEL’S MEE DAD EACHWAY

RACE 8

ASTRONOMITE has not won a race since August 2017 but all of his racing has been in exclusively high grade than this. He is a big class dropper out of strong form races and draws to do no work three back the fence with the cutaway in play. Worth a speculation at double figures. RESISTANCE continues to loom into her races. From the draw Madi Derrick should have her in a winnable position. DAWN ARMADA gets conditions to suit and this is her best chance of the preparation. PERCEPTIVE MISS caught the eye last start in a stronger race than this.
