Draw makes things very interesting but was ridden cold to good effect in barrier trials. Harvey has options. MISS NOBELLE never got a crack at them in a recent barrier trial and looked to be travelling well. 400m jump out was impressive. OBSTINATION showed ability on debut and should be winning races early in her career. COME RIGHT BACK has a very extravagant and unbalanced action but if anyone can get him home it’s Pike and along the cutaway. Numbers: 1 – 9 – 7 – 2 Suggested Bet – GOTTA MOTOR WIN Race 2 LADIES OF LONDON arguably should have won on debut and that race could produce a number of subsequent winners in the next 48 hours. Should roll forward from the draw and sit over the speed and showed she gets through the ground. DELTA BELLE was crunched at her first race start and nothing went right at all. Money for Peters debutantes is usually very astute. Expecting her to improve out of sight here and can settle closer. ENSIGN PULVER ran nice races all campaign when last in work. OUQBA TED made solid ground late in the wet last start. Numbers: 12 – 14 – 5 – 2 Suggested Bet – LADIES OF LONDON WIN Race 3 CHAMPAGNE GAL and OKINA KURI both come from the same race which should prove the strongest form reference. Both are drawn awkwardly but both should give a good account. CHAMPAGNE GAL can give it a shake at a price. OKINA KURI will need luck or a great ride. Has the right man for the job aboard. STORMY RULER likely leads them up and trialed without the shades. Hard to run down if he handles the conditions. ADMIRATION STREET won well on debut and can race well fresh here. Numbers: 7 – 1 – 2 – 6 Suggested Bet – CHAMPAGNE GAL EACHWAY Race 4 MISSING PRO looks speedy enough to cross Classy Lassy and find the fence if that’s the spot to be. Regardless of leading or sitting in the breeze she is the one to run down. Was brave when running slick time over the 1000m in Saturday grade and there are no Samizdats in this line-up. CLASSY LASSY can sit leader’s back if crossed and gets the cutaway option. NOCELLE was knocked around and never got into the race last start. Will be a big price for a horse beaten a nose first-up. WAR SECRETS trialed like a horse who would be winning first-up but bumps into a couple of above average ones. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 1 – 7 Suggested Bet – MISSING PRO WIN Race 5 ZARATITE looked like she found the 1300m just a big sharp first-up. Stepping to 1700 should be much more up her alley and can wind-up into the race three deep from the 600. THE LAST BREEZE could find the front comfortably and was a good run in defeat last start. MELTEME gets it far softer from the inside with a cutaway than last start when drawn wide. TRUE IMAGE an obvious danger with a white hot Pike in the saddle. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 6 – 8 Suggested Bet – ZARATITE WIN Race 6 ABBY LANE bungled the start in a strong rating 1000m graduation. Drawn well, can sit forward of midfield and looks hard to beat off that closing effort on a rain affected track. Hard to argue with the Battle Storm form. LIPSTICK FLICKERS was stiff to run into one as good as Showmanship last start. Effort on speed was big and she looks the logical danger. MY LADY FAIR will need a bit of luck but went alright in the same race. MAGIC PLANET didn’t flatter at trials but 3-year-old race form last preparation strong. Numbers: 3 – 7 – 12 – 2 Suggested Bet – ABBY LANE EACHWAY Race 7 PLAYING MARIKA is a nice 3 year old filly who has improved with every run this preparation after winning three from three in her debut campaign. Drops 0.5kg on a last start win down the middle and expecting Turner to adopt similar tactics. BEAT THE BELL was stiff not to go mighty close in the same race after finding traffic. Should get a nice run midfield and the field should fan with the cutaway in play. MARABEL is an intriguing runner. Contested three G3s and a Listed race in his career. AMELIE ARGOT had no luck at all last start. Numbers: 8 – 11 – 6 – 5 Suggested Bet – PLAYING MARIKA WIN Race 8 SUGAR CAIN has put the writing on the wall with two extremely strong closing sections this preparation. Was charging through the slop late last start and Pike goes on. Even as a C1 mare in a C3 looks hard to hold out. ALTAMONT has been whacking away well in tougher most of the prep and can settle closer. WESTERN STAR is slow away which could make things interesting. Prefer her drawn out but quickly building to another win. MEKONG DEN looked beaten before the corner last start when winning. Can sit on the speed and keep grinding. Numbers: 12 – 1 – 7 – 5 Suggested Bet – SUGAR CAIN WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 2,3,6,8 1,2,3,7,12,13 1,4,5,6,8,9,11 1,5,7,12 Market Market
