Drops right back into a C3 and can sit just behind likely leader and main danger Ultimate Command. From there he gets a wonderful opportunity to stalk and zap her late. ULTIMATE COMMAND only has 55.5kg on her back after the Luke Campbell claim and will have an Easterly breeze blowing at her back. Hard to run down. MAGNUM CLASS was the best backed runner of the race on debut and got the job done in a tight finish. This is a lot deeper and he has 1.5kg extra. KATONA next best up the cutaway. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – INVISIBLE STRING WIN RACE 2 STAR POWER has had a few opportunities but this looks winnable for her. Finished second to Wild Belle, split French Martini and Deetea and then had probably had enough by the end of her last prep. Trialled well behind impressive debut winner Go Go Grommet and gets a gun run tracking the speed. LOOPY’S BABY hasn’t been sighted at the races since 26 March 2022 when contesting a Saturday 2 year old event behind Swear To God. She trialled back in October 2022 but didn’t make it to the races and then has trialled again on 27 March impressively. Shouldn’t be a maiden long. IMA SINGLE GAL has shades on, comes back to maiden company and is quick. OREGON HIKER resumes without a trial. Showed raw ability at Lark Hill in October/November. Numbers: 6 – 7 – 8 – 5 Suggested Bet – STAR POWER WIN RACE 3 ON PATROL put the writing on the wall first-up behind Augment and then was thrown in the deep end when dropping back to 1100m and stepping up in class into the Perth Stakes. Considering that Ripcord ran third behind boom fillies Super Smink and Live To Tell the form looks trustworthy and the step to 1400m looks absolutely perfect for him. HAPPY AS LARRY was equally as good as him in the Perth Stakes and looks to be screaming out for 7 furlongs. He’ll get a good run midfield with cover. ODIN OMEN and INVESTMENTSTRATEGY come through the same race, and both are improving quickly with experience. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 4 – 1 Suggested Bet – ON PATROL EACHWAY RACE 4 KELVINATOR has raced nearly exclusively in Saturday company this preparation. Three starts ago at 1200m he finished third beaten a length behind winning machine Leniency and subsequent winner Ex Sport Girl and then last start he finished 2.7L off undefeated filly Rusty Dreams and recent winners Amber Glide and King’s Sicario. He gets his chance back into a C1 and drawn to lead. LADY CABERNET won from the breeze on debut and looks like she’ll lob there again outside Kelvinator. From there they can control the race and she’s got a bit of X-Factor about her. BUDGERIGAR has chased hard at his last two. EXCELTRAIN trialled well for his return. Numbers: 3 – 5 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – KELVINATOR EACHWAY RACE 5 GIVEMEONEREASON didn’t get much room to move first-up behind subsequent Saturday winner Deep Envy. Think here that Pat Carbery will either find himself one out, one back sitting outside Pompey or if there isn’t a breeze horse rolling forward then sitting up outside of likely leader Exporose. Either way he maps to get a good run and he should only improve off his fresh effort. ZOUBOLTZ broke his maiden in style and can enjoy a near identical run in transit. POMPEY has run into Amber Glide and Shaka Zulu at his last two. Now draws the cutaway. UNDER INFLUENCE won well at his second career outing. Plenty more in store. Numbers: 6 – 5 – 1 – 3 Suggested Bet – GIVEMEONEREASON EACHWAY RACE 6 SESSWA has not been kind to punters in two runs back this preparation and now Danny Morton calls on the claim of Luke Campbell to get a bit of weight off her back. Third-up, 1400m, ideal alley and a wide open race without any standout opposition. She deserves one last chance, especially considering she’s every chance of opening eachway. EL PATRON was huge first-up, ran his race in patches second-up and then struck a bit of interference in a Saturday grade race behind a good one. Interesting to see how they ride him from the gate. PAZZO CAVALLO will need them to be able to make ground. If they’re swooping, he’s a live chance. CENTRAL FORCE looked a little reluctant to burst through tight gaps at his return. Numbers: 5 – 2 – 8 – 9 Suggested Bet – SESSWA EACHWAY RACE 7 MISS EUGEN only finished 2L off Gold Friars three starts ago who has well and truly franked the form since, two starts ago finished only 5.5L off Mountain Ash, Birdieagle and Awesome Chatter before being held up the entire at Geraldton behind subsequent winner Ihts Closing Inn. Month between runs an unknown but this is yet another wide open race with many winning chances. KIA ORA JEWEL has shades on first time, Pike sticks and she’s been racing consistently well. FRIAR THE GUN put in a ripper fresh. VIVID DREAM is one from one and was strong to the line on debut. Numbers: 12 – 6 – 11 – 8 Suggested Bet – MISS EUGEN EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 2,3,5 1,3,5,6,8 1,2,5,6,8,9 6,8,11,12 Market Market
