Last start she parked three deep the trip when finishing second behind Here For Cheques over a mile. She never gave away the chase and was entitled to finish midfield given the run she endured. From the draw Brayden Gaerth can have her parked behind the speed and she’ll take holding out. BLACK SPIRIT at the same time will take serious running down. Won a C3 1300 (dead heat) at her return and should bounce straight to the top. FINCHY looks the third winning chance coming through some handy 3 year old midweek races. SILBER BUGG next best. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 4 – 6 Suggested Bet – CYWER WIN RACE 2 MANITOBA put in a ripper two starts ago over 1800m behind Pin Maher and then finished a solid second behind Baracap when looming the winner on straightening. From the draw he can be ridden patiently and in a field with a lot of horses who are very suspect at the trip he looks to get a wonderful chance to break through and pinch a maiden. MUCHO BENE went around at 100-1 in the same race and ran out of his skin. Can he reproduce? LA CARTIER was unable to reproduce his third to Celebrity Icon. Although considering how Optimal went out of the same race there has to be real reservations on that as form reference. ON GUARD M’LADY an improver. Numbers: 5 – 8 – 6 – 10 Suggested Bet – MANITOBA WIN RACE 3 UNCLE GERARD will be a polarising horse at his return to racing. He resumes without a trial and his followers will be hoping that some time and maturity will see him return a more tractable animal. He has finished in the money in 2 year old Saturday races and finished only 6L off Bustler and All The King’s Men before placing to Megami. Has the form, but does a lot wrong. CRYSTAL ROSE was a big improvement from a moderate trial to an impressive first-up minor placing behind stablemate Exporose. DOBLE OH NADA is a 5 year old on debut who has only trialled once. Don’t think he ran past much in his trial but he did show a turn of speed. CLIMB ON TOP was hitting the line late in his trial. Numbers: 4 – 11 – 7 – 3 Suggested Bet – UNCLE GERARD WIN RACE 4 JUST A RUMOUR is well placed to break through. Finished second behind Desert Nymph at her return from a spell before being thrown into a 3 year old 0MWLY behind Cosmopolitan Girl (since second to Snowdome), Rupert’s Empire and subsequent winner Ruler Rocket. Drops in grade, drops in weight and maps to get a gun run. RED REBEL showed something behind Albright last preparation and then won a trial by a space. Keep safe. ELBOW LOUNGE was bolting in his trial before getting out late and flashing home. FIRST ENCOUNTER was working through her gears nicely late in her trial. Numbers: 4 – 5 – 7 – 8 Suggested Bet – JUST A RUMOUR WIN RACE 5 SHE’S IMMINENT gets one last chance from me. Had genuine excuses two starts ago when wide throughout and then couldn’t reel in Exporose who was able to rack, stack and kick clear on straightening. Still chased hard and gave the indication that 1400m is more her go. Deserves another chance. BIG NOTER ran a big race on debut at odds behind Under Influence. Expect that will hold up as a form reference. SASSY SKYE was huge on debut when splitting Manhattan Strip and Kisses From Kelly. They got well clear of the rest which is always a good indication of maiden quality. THE COLLECTOR was well supported last start and was brave after covering a lot of additional ground. Numbers: 10 – 4 – 11 – 2 Suggested Bet – SHE’S IMMINENT WIN RACE 6 KISSES FROM KELLY ran well enough on debut in a 3 year old 0MWLY behind Amber Glide to suggest she would take beating at her second career outing. Was popular throughout early betting and ran well beaten only half a length behind Manhattan Strip (races in a C3 Wednesday at Ascot) and Sassy Skye (in race 5). Looks to get every chance from the inside draw. CITINO was a great trial and an even better run at his return. There’s a maiden just around the corner for him. Will need a big steer from a shocking gate. PERFECT BUBBLES found plenty of untimely traffic last start in a forgive effort. FIELD OF BATTLE looms and just won’t go past them. Numbers: 6 – 7 – 13 – 2 Suggested Bet – KISSES FROM KELLY WIN RACE 7 AWESOME RIVAL may well be better suited to Pinjarra than Ascot. Think she’ll ultimately do her best work at Belmont Park, but provided they can make some ground on Thursday then this is a winnable race for her. She hasn’t won one this campaign but all of her runs from near impossible positions in running have been full of merit. Knocking on the door. ULTIMATE STYLE will stay out of trouble at the other end of the map. Thinking they’ll try and lead again considering he doesn’t seem to have any real change up speed. Just a tough grinding type. FINE ROMANCE improves sharply coming up in distance and with a senior rider going back on. Didn’t think she was too bad fresh. COMEALILBITCLOSER next best. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 3 – 2 Suggested Bet – AWESOME RIVAL WIN RACE 8 ESTIMATOR was backed from even money into $1.40 at his return to the races. He couldn’t find the fence and from there he never settled and never looked likely. He’s drawn towards the outside fence and that’s a huge advantage for a horse having their first start down the straight. Best part about this race is that all three fancies have speed and are drawn the outside. KAMARSHALL has only had two starts, both down the straight and both have been big runs. Trialled super. DEVINE BELIEF took a sit in that trial. Forget she went around, she’s a free rolling filly. PAEROA LAD next best first start for Ike Racing. Numbers: 1 – 3 – 6 – 7 Suggested Bet – ESTIMATOR WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 2,3,4,10,11 6,7,13 1,3,5 1,3,6 Market Market
