Scott Embry’s Thursday Pinjarra Preview Posted on August 8, 2018August 9, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 NEMIROFF really does look a 1000m straight type of horse. High cruising speed and race fit. Expect Stone to try and make ground towards the outside fence and lead them up a couple of horses off the fence. DEMERITISE was a very impressive trial in solid time. Drawn better than Nemiroff and looks the logical danger. SHORT MEMORY can run a race after showing ability in her debut preparation. METRO BOY went round as an odds on favourite first-up and is drawn sticky. Numbers: 1 – 9 – 8 – 2 Suggested Bet – NEMIROFF WIN Race 2 LEADING MAN looks a very nice type in the making. Loved his trial and if he can handle the straight five on debut then should be winning. FAIR JOY has had one start down the Pinjarra straight when running second to the talented Danny George. Trialed well for his return and then was only fair first-up in a slowly run race. KEEP IT QUIET went well down the straight first-up and Autier has a knack of getting them home down the middle. NEWBURY GIRL trailed well on both occasions this preparation. Numbers: 9 – 1 – 5 – 8 Suggested Bet – LEADING MAN WIN Race 3 FROGGOTTEN has improved a couple of lengths at every run throughout his short career. Three starts ago caught the eye behind Peppijack who has franked the form and then his last two have been excellent. Gets his chance. ONYA HEAD is a beautiful animal, went round short on debut and looked a million dollars. Drawn awkwardly for his first-up run taking on the older horses and may scratch to run Saturday. JAMIE’S LINC has run some handy races in defeat and resumes for an inform yard. DEEL RED will need this trip and beyond. Improver. Numbers: 3 – 11 – 6 – 12 Suggested Bet – FROGGOTTEN WIN Race 4 SAN CRISPINO is a 16 start maiden but beaten less than half a length at four of her last five outings. She deserves to break through and looked the winner everywhere bar the post at her most recent. KWIK FANTASY is the stablemate and ran a big race over a mile two starts ago before settling back and just grinding late. SPIRITED SNITZEL was encouraging at her first crack at a trip. SOLOMON CAIN is yet to show anything of note but the stock need this distance. Numbers: 5 – 8 – 9 – 4 Suggested Bet – SAN CRISPINO WIN Race 5 GOLD ARTISAN was given every chance two starts ago when saluting over a horse who has won two on the bounce since. Last start was never a winning chance a long way from home. Can bounce back at odds. QUEEN BEY is one paced and will need to be winding up a fair way from home. TRUE DELIGHT was far from disgraced at her first staying outing. Gets it soft from the gate. PROCLAMATION gets track conditions to suit and a noted staying hoop engaged. Numbers: 5 – 4 – 9 – 10 Suggested Bet – GOLD ARTISAN EACHWAY Race 6 MAMBAZO is a month between runs, staying trip back to a mile, drawn a gate to wind-up three deep with cover and gets an aggressive rider engaged. In an evenly graded event think she can run a big race at odds. WORLD IS YOURS is an improving type with a nice turn of foot. Draw sees him back last. YOUNG THOR sits right up on speed and will be hard to chase down. FINANCE is a hard horse to ride and does a lot wrong. Showed a lot of ability early but recent form only fair. Numbers: 5 – 4 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – MAMBAZO EACHWAY Race 7 EVERYMILE A MEMORY was a big run in defeat first-up on a heavy8. Form is obviously questionable to an extent but she dug deep and kept coming. Think she’ll make an above average stayer, worth following. BARDSEY was backed as if unbeatable last week and bolted in. A repeat effort sees him go close. TECHNICAL LIMIT does a lot wrong and runs around but has a motor. ROCK OR BUST can run a cheeky race at cricket score odds if the heavens open. Numbers: 5 – 2 – 1 – 12 Suggested Bet – EVERYMILE A MEMORY WIN Race 8 UNDISCLOED and LEAUGE OF NATIONS were not winning propositions on Saturday when this race was over 1000m at Belmont Park. But transferred to Pinjarra and they are now the two to beat. UNDISCLOSED has to lump a full 59kg because Jordan Turner can’t claim at Pinjarra but she flys down the straight. LEAGUE OF NATIONS is speedy and should find the coveted outside rail. EPIC GREY is a massive query down the straight. Typically winds up and those types are rarely suited down the straight. SHARPBOB smashed the clock here two starts ago. Numbers: 4 – 8 – 1 – 9 Suggested Bet – UNDISCLOSED WIN Race 9 SEE ME SIZZLE has only had one career start beyond a mile but with Smith on he must be respected down in class and in an even race is worth a spec. PRYING TOM has not put in a bad run this preparation and if he finds some cover from the awkward gate then will take some beating. Form already holds up through Red Army. BEG TO DIFFER is the king of Pinjarra 2000m races. Also loves rain soaked tracks. PADDY’S SHADOW was wide no cover the trip in the Belmont Classic and brave in defeat. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 5 – 11 Suggested Bet – SEE ME SIZZLE EACHWAY Race 10 SHOUHOU has always promised a lot but never really set the world on fire. Her recent trial was excellent and should be an eachway quote in a wide open race. KINGDOM AND EMPIRE will be winning a race in this class sometime soon. Going better than reads on paper. THE ANAESTHETIST should enjoy another economical run and gets through the going. REQUISITION leads or box seats and Popes horses grow a leg when racing at home. Numbers: 11 – 3 – 5 – 7 Suggested Bet – SHOUHOU EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 7 – 10) 1,2,5 1,4,8 2,3,5,6,11 1,3,5,6,7,11 Market Market
