Scott Embry’s Thursday Pinjarra Preview Posted on May 6, 2020May 6, 2020 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 HIP WIGGLE should finally break her maiden here at start number 9. She was huge first-up when chasing subsequent winner Blazing Billy and holding talented filly Angelic Miss through the line. Then went to town and sat back off a first 600 run 10L slower than average. Couldn’t pick them up in a sit sprint and gets her chance here. FAIR FORCE resumes from the inside gate and can run a race fresh at a price. BALLADEER has his first start in Western Australia. Did enough over East to demand respect here. DOMINEER from the soft draw next best. Numbers: 8 – 9 – 1 – 10 Suggested Bet – HIP WIGGLE WIN RACE 2 DOUBLE SPICE looks very hard to beat on debut. Winner of both trials in two different preparations and looked to have a motor on both occasions. Yet to be fully tested and from the draw should be right up in the firing line and going very close to saluting. TRUTIARA has been a perennial place getter in her short career. Likely to be ridden out of the gates with Harvey in an attempt to cross. KHAVIYAR will be 100-1. Throw into the novelties, can run a cheeky race. FIVE STAR KENNY hasn’t been seen for a year but trialled nicely and draws perfectly. Numbers: 4 – 6 – 9 – 2 Suggested Bet – DOUBLE SPICE WIN RACE 3 RHYTHM STAR has been flying without luck in recent races. Comes up to the staying trip for the first time but this is a weak line up and she really gets her chance. Has been luckless her last few in quality maiden form races and this looks hers if she can just stick the trip. TYPHOON BEN was backed at a price last week in C1 company. On the quick back up for Justin Warwick, respect. FREQUENT FRIAR is going to be winning staying races. Looks a big winning chance. DATA LAKE an improver. Numbers: 9 – 2 – 4 – 7 Suggested Bet – RHYTHM STAR WIN RACE 4 OUTLAW KING gets another chance here getting up to 1500. Is almost a month between runs but showed serious ability on debut when catching the eye behind the very talented Last of the Line. SNOW BAMBOO changes stable into a yard who can improve them. Both trials very impressive, keep safe. CUBAN TWIST ran out of her skin fresh in a fast run mile race first-up. If she can reproduce that effort she is in the mix. SWIFT GONDO is no star but on the speed should be in the mix. Numbers: 2 – 3 – 9 – 10 Suggested Bet – OUTLAW KING WIN RACE 5 PORPHYRIO has been a model of consistency this preparation. Strong winner two starts ago and then almost ran down Twentythree Red last start. Gets weight relief with Beaux Edwards going on and she can go close here. FRIAR AWAY is not going that well at the moment but back in trip and dropping 3kg can improve. SHOES OF EKRAAR was enormous first-up no trial at 1600 when winning fresh. Takes any improvement at all from that effort and he has to be a big winning chance. CORNFLOWER a definite winning chance if they go this way and scratch Wednesday. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 1 – 9 Suggested Bet – PORPHYRIO WIN RACE 6 MICHELLE MA BELLE is on trial really at the trip but her three runs in for Wendy Miller have been excellent. Wendy’s team is flying and this mare should be able to find the front and control proceedings for Beaux Edwards. ON RED ALERT could not have been more impressive at two runs in this preparation but is set a bit of a task from a horror draw. BRUCE ALMIGHTY is double nominated for Wednesday and Thursday. Whichever way he goes he is a winning chance. AMLLIONITE has put together two impressive runs since returning this preparation. Numbers: 5 – 3 – 1 – 8 Suggested Bet – MICHELLE MA BELLE WIN RACE 7 ROSEBUSH had to wait a fair while between drinks but it was worthwhile. She had to dig deep last start to win and was given a 12/10 by Chris Parnham. From the gate he has all the options he wants and this mare is both versatile and talented. More than capable of winning again. WILD FRONT is in a rich vein of form and if Beaux Edwards can get across to the breeze (at worst) then he is right in it. WANNA BE GOOD has a powerful turn of foot on his day and this looks a suitable race for him. REWRITE THE STARS has the world of ability but must have some serious feet struggles with the number of recent scratchings and shoeing changes. Numbers: 8 – 5 – 4 – 16 Suggested Bet – ROSEBUSH WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 1,2,3,4,9,10 1,2,3,4,9,11 1,3,5,8 4,5,8 Market Market
