Scott Embry’s Sunday Pinjarra Preview Posted on December 7, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 LA BELLA MISS was very strong in the market on debut when backed hard and late and then was the complete opposite second-up when drifting out to a huge price. Comes across from an awkward gate and gets her chance. WILDONBROOK has trialed without blinker and looks the type who will benefit with experience and being up against the fence. REGAL MAGIC will get off them but ran third behind two talented ones. WILLHEGO WEST was a nice enough trial. Numbers: 8 – 14 – 11 – 6 Suggested Bet – LA BELLA MISS WIN Race 2 FROGGOTTEN will need to be double figures to tempt a bet but he has a real X-Factor to him. Looks to have ability to win more than just a maiden but does a lot wrong and will be a fair way back from the draw. COCKATIEL was far from disgraced last start. She simply ran into one who is worth following. BROADWAY GIRL should kick up and lead them without a lot of pressure and looks handy. PRINCESS PIERRO is really at a jury out point in her career. Numbers: 2 – 13 – 10 – 14 Suggested Bet – FROGGOTTEN PLACE Race 3 CONTENTIONAL gets a very good chance here to break through and win a maiden after teasing punters for a fair while. Gets back in his races (as will the other fancies) and with Jarrad Noske going on he should be wound up at the 600m. POND ZERO jumped from 1400 up to 2000m last start and was given every possible chance leading at a walk. Improved for the run. UNDER THE ARCHES and BARBIE WILL DO come from the same race and were both impressive last start. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 11 – 12 Suggested Bet – CONTENTIONAL WIN Race 4 THE SQUIRT is drawn on the wrong side of the Pinjarra straight, however, is trained on course and usually is a touch slow away regardless. If he can carve across the back of a few of them and get clear running is a big chance fresh. FRIAR’S CLASSIC will head towards the outside fence and has the invaluable track/distance experience. TEXAS MOON is in a similar boat. Has speed. TWO COOL has lots of speed but looks to get the staggers late in her races. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 1 – 7 Suggested Bet – THE SQUIRT WIN Race 5 EXCISE FREE looks the perfect Pinjarra 1000m straight commodity and is drawn perfectly in the outside gate. Chris Parnham should fire him straight to the front and hugging the outside fence should be near on impossible to run down. LIES IN DISGUISE can go very quick and will be right there all the way. MAGNIFLYING can improve back to a Class 1 company. DENGA goes well over the straight thousand and must be respected. Numbers: 12 – 10 – 3 – 1 Suggested Bet – EXCISE FREE WIN Race 6 LENNON’S SONG is a really progressive staying mare who is running better races every time she goes to the track. Her last start effort was full of merit and she should be given every chance from the draw. RARE COIN has not seen a race of this nature for a fair while. Been toiling away in Saturday races for a long while. PRUE looks like pinching one of these very soon if they keep letting her break the field open. PERSISTENCE TIME is an out and out stayer who will appreciate the tempo. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 4 – 6 Suggested Bet – LENNON’S SONG WIN Race 7 SARSIKA has been touted as one outside the box and her two recent trials suggest that she may have matured into a very smart mare. This race looks to be at her mercy and she could be off to bigger and better things. KING OF CHAOS was strongly supported first-up after a big trial. 4kg claimer replaced by a gun senior. KAAPANDER is a slight query at the trip but he is going well. PURIST could be almost ready to run a cheeky race. Numbers: 10 – 2 – 1 – 9 Suggested Bet – SARISKA WIN Race 8 SUMMIT TRAIL has always shown a level of ability and his last four or five starts have been in far stronger company than this. He should roll straight to the top and take a fair bit of catching. FAIREDU has been crunched in betting at her last two starts and duly saluted at her most recent. May need to come across and punch the breeze. CARRANYA LASS gets it soft up the fence and has a nice turn of foot. LOVE ALWAYS is never far away and loomed first-up before peaking. Numbers: 3 – 14 – 7 – 15 Suggested Bet – SUMMIT TRAIL WIN Race 9 KING OF JUDAH has had four career runs, all equally as impressive and all with a 3kg claiming apprentice. Drawn a gate, Jarrad Noske aboard and not knocked around in either trial. KEEPER’S TALE was an interesting run first-up in a race which has held up as a form reference. Step up in trip is ideal and she is the big danger. TOUCHED was beaten fair and square by Keeper’s Tale when they last met but gets a 4kg swing in her favour here. THREESUN is very hard to catch but ran some ripping races last preparation. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 6 – 8 Suggested Bet – KING OF JUDAH WIN Quaddie (Race 6 – 9) 1,4,5 2,10 2,3,4,6,7,14,15 3,4,6,8 Market Market
