Scott Embry’s Sunday Bunbury Preview Posted on November 23, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 WORTH SQUARE ran two nice races as a 2 year old. Really eye catching on debut over 1000m in a fast run race behind talented Universal Ruler filly Market Ruler. Had every chance in the trial to reel the leader in, however, looks a type who could improve sharply with the shades. CLASSY LASSY has demolished rivals at both recent trials. If she crosses to the fence they’ll know they’re in a race. COSTA DEL SANTO was not knocked around in his most recent trial. DASH FOR KNICKERS gets a better ran than first-up. Numbers: 1 – 6 – 3 – 5 Suggested Bet – WORTH SQUARE WIN Race 2 PICK YOUR BATTLES is a bit of a risky commodity at 1000m after being noticeably slow away on debut. The run there after was excellent and he looks to have stacks of ability but still learning. TWO COOL trials well and the 1000m looks her go. Could find the fence. RAPID TRANSIT was charging in his most recent trial and laid in badly. Could prove a handful. MY LADY FAIR would be the one to beat if she is scratched from Saturday. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 5 – 6 Suggested Bet – PICK YOUR BATTLES WIN Race 3 ORABREEZE was slow away last start when the blinkers went on for the first time. From a cleaner get away he should position up midfield and this looks winnable for him. WILD GALAH was the target of strong support last start and swooped to the lead coming into the corner, left a sitting duck and duly run down late. From the gate, is the one to beat. AL CAPITANO looks a mile – staying type, positions up 1×1 from the gate. KORANIS goes back and is building. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 1 – 6 Suggested Bet – ORABREEZE WIN Race 4 LIPSTICK FLICKERS went under at $1.50 last start by the narrowest of margins. Should sit leader’s back here and get the run of the race. If she gets out at the top of the straight looks likely to zap them. HENTY GAL has put together two impressive closing efforts. Step up in trip looks ideal. SASATA was beaten a fair way last start but the horse who won the race looks a star in the making. FIND THE GAP was ridden cold last start and finished it off well. Numbers: 7 – 8 – 5 – 2 Suggested Bet – LIPSTICK FLICKERS WIN Race 5 SEEKING ALPHA was an impressive debut winner at Cranbourne when well commissioned. Resumes back in WA without a trial and she looks the one to beat. Interesting to see how the market assesses her. GROOVERSHAKER has stacks of ability and trialed like a horse who would be winning first-up. Could have run into a nice one. BARTRADER won well first-up in a relatively strong maiden. JELANI EXPRESS an improver at odds. Numbers: 5 – 2 – 1 – 6 Suggested Bet – SEEKING ALPHA WIN Race 6 CHAPASCO looks a Derby type in the making. Was on debut over 2000m as a 2 year old and has come back to racing very well. Huge first-up and then impressive when winning second-up. Should eat up the ground and be winning. MASTER PEARL is a massive type who should get a nice run midfield and has always looked like he would stay. THROWDOWN was a debut winner over 1920m at York. The opposition leaves a fair bit of a query but he hit the line well. MODERN NEWS is still a maiden but she’ll be winning one soon. Numbers: 3 – 1 – 2 – 5 Suggested Bet – CHAPASCO WIN Race 7 MISTY LAD trialed well really, went alright first-up and then was never really a chance with the way the track was playing on Melbourne Cup day at Ascot where all the winners were coming wide with their runs. He gets his chance here back to Bunbury with Paul Harvey controlling. FRIARANDICE was backed as if unbeatable first-up and she absolutely bolted in. Could have turned a corner. RAMRUEY could improve out to this trip and from the gate gets a nice run. LADY LE JEAN is a month between runs and has a bar on but her previous form is excellent for a C3. Numbers: 2 – 8 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – MISTY LAD EACHWAY Race 8 CHINETTI is really suited in this grade with a 3kg claimer who looks to the eye like she will be winning plenty of races. He jumps and if he can cross De Andes will control or at worst he sits outside and is always tough to run down. KRAMDEN was not knocked around in his recent trial and is 3 from 3 undefeated at Bunbury, 3 out of 4 first-up and has an in-form apprentice steering. Will have plenty of supporters. DE ANDES is a live chance as long as he doesn’t lock horns with the top weight. DENIM PACK should be coming down the middle late from a fair way back. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 8 – 3 Suggested Bet – CHINETTI WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 1,2,5 3 1,2,3,4,7,8 1,2,3,8 Market Market
