RACE 1

OFF THIS PLANET should put on a galloping exhibition in the first. Won a Carnarvon maiden by 5.5L. Finished second in a C1 1400 at Carnarvon and then wasn’t disgraced in a C1 1200 on the grass at Ascot behind Capricorn Man. Should be giving Beaux Edwards her first winner as a senior. SALCHINO is still a maiden and looks the danger. Going well but this is harder. NEW PRINCESS is being beaten margins but battling on. KING OF THE JIVE leads and stops.

RACE 2

RED EPIC gained a start at Geraldton as first emergency on Wednesday. If he does back up off 2 days and make his way to Laverton he’ll be hard to beat in this. On speed type who can find the front and keep kicking. HAYSTACKS won by over 10L at Mt Magney and then finished a solid second to Glenaureen at Meekatharra. Forgive and forget the Leonora run. TIME TO THUNDER has hit a purple patch of form. All of Kylie Craig’s are going well at the same time. MISS BRIGHTON battled away well last week.

RACE 3

SECOND CHOICE finished second to Itsatrap last week at Leinster. The 1000m was always going to be too short and yet he kept fighting on bravely. Think this is his chance to win one. AMELIA’S BELIEF is the one he’ll need to run down. Straight to the front he’ll be rolling a long way out in a jump and run mission. SILVER SAX can kick through to hold a spot behind them. DYNAMITE GREY just drops the bit in the middle stages.

RACE 4

BITOVEMU was back to her best last Saturday at Leinster down the 1000m straight. Got the better of Flying Arabian to win the Sprint and this looks an even more suitable assignment. Does rise 5kg but gains the services of gun dirt rider Bonnie Palise. Should go well again. DUCHESS DREAM broke her maiden in style. This is a fair bit harder. TUMUT RIVER is yet to find his feet this preparation. THE FINEST continues to be plunged in betting without success.

RACE 5

FLYING ARABIAN looks the one in the Laverton Sprint. He won the Meekatharra Sprint by 7L, he finished second in the Leonora Sprint (by 7L) and then he finished second in the Leinster Sprint. Looks like finding the front and from there he’s the one they need to run down. MYBAK hasn’t been seen for 6 weeks but from the inside gate can park on the back of Flying Arabian. CAPE SOUNION has just dropped off recently. Gear changes made and Peta Edwards on. LAYLO coming back in trip a query.

RACE 6

GALIBA brings the alternate form through the Moora Cup. Her first-up second to Native Chimes in a 68+ 1700 at Carnarvon was massive and her narrow second in the Moora Cup was strong. Think she’s the one. THE DIVINE WIND was backed from $1.95 into $1.32 last Saturday in the Leinster Cup and never looked likely. Was beaten over 15L and was found to have pulled up with excuses. Going off his fighting win in the Leonora Cup he’s the one to beat. Going off his run in the Leinster Cup he’s in trouble. Hard to line-up all of a sudden. MAJORA’S MASK is always a chance in these outer Country Cups. MIDNIGHT BLACK has hit form.
