No reason why he can’t continue on his merry way. BALLIDU BOMBER likely jumps straight to the front and the grey is always hard to run down. TOM ALMIGHTY has been promising to win a race all preparation but patience is beginning to thin. FERNGROVE is a little horse who should appreciate the claim of McNaught. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – OUTSPOKEN DUKE WIN Race 2 CHIN STRAP has the ability to win races in the metro area on a Saturday and looks a brilliant transfer to the flying Jake Casey stable. Jumps, leads, runs and should go very close. CUANZO failed to fire at his dirt debut but watch for him to improve as we get closer to Cup week. ONE FASTER has solid Darwin form to his name and should be competitive. BONNY BE GOOD is class but always wary of horses having their first start on the track. Numbers: 5 – 2 – 3 – 4 Suggested Bet – CHIN STRAP WIN Race 3 RAKNIKAR seems to have found another race that he can jump straight to the front and control proceedings. Grows a leg out in front. CARD KNIGHT hit the line well at his Broome debut and the step up in trip suits him. TOMOHAWK has been slow away for the majority of the season which has been hurting his winning prospects. ANDREINI should run his usual honest race and be right in the mix. Numbers: 6 – 2 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – RAKNIKAR WIN Race 4 AXEL FOLEY looked a nice type winning his maiden. Losing Peter Hall from the saddle is never ideal but Hagley is a capable replacement. He should win a C1 quite quickly. CLEVE’S WATCHING hit the line in a fast run 1200m race. SHould appreciate the step up in trip. RED HOT FLIRT can give cheek if he finds the top and rolls. FROSTY BAY has been consistent since arriving. Numbers: 1 – 5 – 6 – 3 Suggested Bet – AXEL FOLEY WIN Race 5 A GOOD PLAN should simply be too speedy for these. Jumps straight to the top and runs them into the ground will be the game plan. DESERT THORN has put in some ripping runs since being transferred up North. His last start from well off the speed was excellent. AEECEE TIANHU comes across from the Gai Waterhouse stable and Gary Delane has had great success with her off casts, especially in Broome. DIXIE WIN has been solid in all runs so far this preparation. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 3 – 5 Suggested Bet – A GOOD PLAN WIN Race 6 I’M A BLUEBAGGER was given a 17/10 ride by Altieri last start, ridden to perfection for the type of horse he is. Needs to get rolling a fair way from home and grind them into the ground. STAR OF VEGAS will be swooping if they over cook it in front. GLORYLAND is racing below his best at the minute but stepping up in trip helps. RESPONDENT is the X-Factor runner at his NW debut. End goal will be the Cup but can fire fresh. Numbers: 5 – 8 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – I’M A BLUEBAGGER EACHWAY Race 7 SALTY was unable to build momentum in a fast run race last start. His previous win was off the charts and from the gate expect him to be making a run at them three deep a fair way from home. CORPORATE STRATEGY is a nice horse and with the right run just off the speed can definitely win. WELL SPOKEN MAN was brave in defeat with a big weight last start. If he leads they’ll have a task catching him. SENSE OF DENIAL faces one of her toughest tests to date but goes well.
