Race 1

STREET FURY has been excellent in both runs since returning from a spell. She looks the goods on paper. KENTOO should get a soft run up along the fence. SALUBRIOUS would have gone very close with even luck last weekend. THUNDERSTRUT with a postage stamp weight might be allowed to roll in front.

Race 2

WOOLIBAR is relatively well weighted against a number of main rivals. If they can run on he will give a big sight at a decent price. PRETENTIOUS CHANT looked as though he was back to his best last start. Pike on is a big plus. IT’S IT was coasting and ran serious time when winning a fortnight ago, rises sharply in weight. BOMBS AWAY should enjoy the run of the race on the rails.

Race 3

VEUVE DE VEGA is a hard horse to catch but his recent trial suggested he may be over a few of his issues from last preparation. KARLAKEE MISS is a model of consistency and should get every favor from the gun alley. MANTIME back to 1200m looks a positive. THE CELT was heavily supported late in betting before just going under last weekend.

Race 4

LUKES GOLD and HELMS GATE hail from the powerful Sigley yard who are striking at almost 30% in recent months. Off the back of a soft draw I will lean towards HELMS GATE. LUKES GOLD clearly second best and main danger. HAY MAGIC has put the writing on the wall at both starts this preparation. STOCKS could bob up at odds if the rain continues to fall.

Race 5

POP HERO was held up the entire length of the home straight first-up, forget he went around. His 1000m and Soft track records make him an attractive eachway punt. VANDEMONIAN comes from the same race and should get a soft run. FORBIDDEN PLANET finds it hard to win but is always thereabouts. MASSACHUSETTS runs her best races off this type of freshen-up.

Race 6

SHOWY CHLOE needs the rain to keep coming, every inch increases her chances of causing an upset. Drawn perfectly, she looks ready to run a big race. GIGANTE should park right up on speed and give a sight. SPECIAL DELIVERY goes under the hammer on Sunday but at his best he could easily knock these off. MAX ALMIGHTY has been charging home with big weight imposts, back down to 57kg is a luxury.

Race 7

VARIATION has shown time and time again that he is the best 3 year old miler in the state. His effort in the Group 3 Belmont Sprint was sensational and he looks to have another Listed race well within his grasp. WESTERN TEMPLE was strong on speed first-up in a race that has produced two subsequent winners. GANGBUSTER savaged the line fresh at 1400m. FONTAINBLEAU smashed rivals in a midweek race. She has a lot of upside.

Race 8

JETOOMY looks poised to make it two wins in 14 days on the quick back-up. This is a moderate group of stayers and he is a promising horse on the rise. CAPPO D’ORO is a non-winner but always runs handy races in this grade. NOT AGAIN KEN likes to go through his gears three wide, 2000m has always looked like it would suit. ELITE FLIGHT could be the blowout mare to pinch another weak Saturday before re-retirement.
