Chris’ Rosehill Best Bets Posted on March 24, 2017 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 3 No. 3 Astronomos Looks like we’ll be racing on a Heavy (10) again tomorrow at Rosehill Gardens with more rain expected throughout the meeting. With that being the case this is one galloper we can depend on to handle the conditions as he’s a genuine swimmer! He’s won 4 of 5 on Heavy, 1 of 1 on Soft and comes off an impressive last start Randwick victory on a bog track. Mudlark! SuperPick - Race 3 No. 3 Astronomos - Money Back – Run 2nd RACE 4 No. 4 Rudy Queensland visitor who is another mudlark. Resumed from a break recently with a strong effort at Doomben running on strongly late after being held up the majority of the home straight. He’s won 4 of his 6 Heavy track starts and is a Group 2 winner who is well up to the grade here particularly on the wet surface. Keep in mind his second up record is also a good won having won 3 of 8. RACE 6 No. 8 Jameka Reigning Caulfield Cup winner who looks well placed in the big Group 1 tomorrow. All three runs this time in down south have been good and she has been forced to work in a forward position her last couple. She’s won her only start on Heavy ground and can make that 2 from 2 and take home the majority of the 1.5 million dollar prizemoney tomorrow.
