Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on March 24, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 24th March 2017 Race 1 – No. 1 Skyther Monelli Should find this much easier than recent outings at headquarters. Can be risky at box rise but he is having his first start in red tonight so he should get a nice run along the rails and bounce back to winning form. Race 4 – No. 5 West On Liam SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win) Comfortably working his way through the grades with wins in all of his last 5 starts. they’ve all been by big margins and in slick times and while this is his toughest test tonight, he looks hard to run down again. Race 12 – No. 2 Return The Love Handy chaser who is unbeaten in 2 runs over the trip. Drawn nicely and will find this much easier than a last start 4th behind kennelmate Art Noveau in a heat of the Puppy Classic at Cannington. Look for her to live up to her name tonight. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 25th March 2017 Race 1 – No. 2 Maliah Gets one more chance to impress now that he has everything in his favour tonight. He is back over his pet distance, jumping from his favourite draw and is also fitter for recent racing. He should be able to find his best tonight. Race 5 – No. 6 Neil Monelli SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Place) Can be a miss more than a hit at box rise but he has one of the biggest finishes in the state. Last week’s 3rd behind Black Bombshell was massive as he lost a significant amount of early ground on the first turn before rocketing to the line, posting a time of 30.11. With better luck in this, he will surprise them at odds. Race 9 – No. 1 Ochre Keroma Impressed when defeating a handy line up over the shorter 520m at just her second run in the state last week. Up in distance but that won’t worry her as she has been placed multiple times over 600m and longer. Looks hard to beat from this draw. QUADDIE (Race 5 to 8): 1, 2, 5, 6, 8 / 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 / 8 / 2, 3, 5, 6. $50 for 50% TRIFECTA – Race 3 1, 3, 4 / 1, 3, 4 / 1, 3, 4 7, 8. $30 for 166.66% FIRST FOUR – Race 5 1, 2, 5, 6, 8 Allways. $50 for 41.66% Bet-Now
