Randwick Throughbreds Preview – 27 February Posted on February 26, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Tips RACE 5 No.3 Stay With Me Last years Caulfield Guineas winner who wouldn’t settle first up in the Light Fingers two weeks ago. She went back and settled last before making up good ground in the straight to wind up just over a couple of lengths from the winner. Up to the 1400m tomorrow will certainly play into her hands, add to that a hopefully better frame of mind and she’ll be very hard to beat. RACE 6 No.4 Peeping Ron Quinton trained mare who returned in good order here recently over 1200m clocking in 2nd behind Sultry Feeling. She gave the winner 5kg on that occasion yet was able to run her to less than a length on the line. Much better placed at the weight scale tomorrow and the rise to 1400m is certainly in her favour. She can return to the winners circle. RACE 9 No.11 Nancy Lightly raced Team Snowden trained mare who resumes from a break tomorrow. Her first up record to date is a good one having won and placed from only the two attempts. She’s a recent barrier trial winner which is always a good guide with this stable. Can return a winner.
