Scott’s Wednesday Pinjarra Park Preview Posted on May 23, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 DENGA has had two runs down the straight which is of great experience and had drawn the wrong side in both those assignments. Could find the outside fence and be hard to beat. BEAT THE BELL trialed up exceptionally well but is drawn poorly. GUNFLINT was never asked for an effort at his most recent trial and looked handy. TEXAS MOON has the speed to be prominent in the run and figure in a tough race. Numbers: 3 – 13 – 7 – 2 Suggested Bet – DENGA WIN Race 2 FINANCIAL SUPPORT was far from disgraced sitting just off a hot tempo last start and if Pike can slot him in he is right in the mix here. Expecting that race to hold up form wise. FOO TROUBLE should find the front or sit outside and from there they have to catch him. TOW ROPE can go well fresh for a new stable. He should find a gun spot from the gate. MISS AUBREY looks like she needs further but is a nice enough type in the making. Numbers: 8 – 2 – 1 – 12 Suggested Bet – FINANCIAL SUPPORT WIN Race 3 GROOVERSHAKER resumed in Saturday grade and was far from disgraced. Looks as though his trainer may have tested some gear changes in an effortless trial victory on Monday. FIRST BLACK is a query back in trip, expect she’s looking for a staying type of trip. She is very one paced and Pike will have his work cut out to wind her up. BURNING MAGIC has had her fair share of chances to break through but this is a weak maiden. BARRITUS next best. Numbers: 2 – 13 – 11 – 8 Suggested Bet – GROOVERSHAKER WIN Race 4 COSMIC REFELECTION really caught the eye charging from last at her most recent. If she can reproduce that run she will be steaming down the outside. LICKETY SPLIT either leads or box seats and when Paul Harvey is in that position he is mighty hard to roll. SECRET TARGET was allowed to roll last start but may be better suited just off the speed here. HAPPY SANDAY charged home in a slowly run race at Albany fresh. Numbers: 12 – 6 – 13 – 4 Suggested Bet – COSMIC REFLECTION EACHWAY Race 5 BELLA’S IDOL resumes for a new stable who train winners at Pinjarra for fun. Trialed up well for his return and if Peter Hall can get him outside the lead from an awkward gate he’ll be in the finish. ENCHANTED DREAM was the Queen of Pinjarra in her early days. Obviously has her soundness issues but this race is very winnable for her. GEIGER GEM got a lovely run last start in a race which has already produced a subsequent Saturday winner. ANOTHER VISION has been promising to win a race for over a year and Pike could be that difference. Numbers: 6 – 2 – 4 – 9 Suggested Bet – BELLA’S IDOL EACHWAY Race 6 SEBRING SPY is capable on his day and in a very evenly graded affair could be the one at odds to bob up. His closing effort in a nice form race was sound. MISS SWINDLE has blinkers on and Pike on which for the Simon Miller stable usually means the money will follow. DYNABELLE looked plain on face value at Albany but the run was better than it reads. SOVEREIGN TRADE went straight into a lot of Blackbooks after resuming in Saturday grade but hasn’t been seen for 2 months. Numbers: 2 – 11 – 6 – 1 Suggested Bet – SEBRING SPY EACHWAY Race 7 KING LOUIE is one of the more unlucky Class 1 gallopers going round. He should have probably won 3 or 4 in his career. Resumes for a new stable, well weighted and drawn nicely. Can be in the finish. SARISKA belted a bunch of mediocre maidens. Interesting to see where she ends up in the run and just how good she is. MR UNDERCOVER ran a nice race in the Belmont Guineas. Resumed in an unsuitable race and went well. SORDELLO deserves to salute before retirement. Numbers: 1 – 12 – 3 – 16 Suggested Bet – KING LOUIE EACHWAY Race 8 SUPERIOR SMILE looks incredibly well placed on paper. Noted front running apprentice engaged for a luxurious claim, drawn perfectly and back in class from a race in which they ran time and should hold up as form reference. FOUR WHITE FOX was caught 4 and 5 deep from barrier 4 at his most recent in a strangely run race. FAULTY is a big query at the trip but his Great Southern form is sound. FRIARANDICE is not a strong mare but the postage stamp weight helps greatly. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 8 – 11 Suggested Bet – SUPERIOR SMILE WIN Race 9 REBOW has been the target of a lot of feline related quips in his short career but last start he was brave and that’s an adjective I’ve certainly never used to describe him before. The mile is a query but expect whatever he opens he will shorten dramatically. ROJO CALOR was handy when dropping out of the Derby. Repeats that run and goes close. NUN TOO SAVVY is building towards another win. MASSA MAC can improve with the shades on. Numbers: 4 – 7 – 11 – 5 Suggested Bet – REBOW WIN Quaddie (Race 6 – 9) 1,2,4,6,11 1,3,,12 1,4 4,5,7,11 Bet Now
