Greg’s Pinjarra Park Picks Posted on July 21, 2016July 22, 2016 | Posted by Greg Hooper Greg Hooper’s Preview RACE 1 FINAL SALUTE found the line with some gusto in his recent trial indicating the 1203m will suit on debut. SUPER EXCEED won his last trial by 4 lengths. He should fire over to lead or settle in the first few and be hard to run down. MRS BROWN’S BOY wasn’t asked for much in a recent trial. BOS TAURUS looked solid in a recent trial win. Numbers – 4 – 9 – 6 – 3 Suggested Bet – Final Salute save Super Exceed RACE 2 FRATERNIZE has trialled very well and should take plenty of beating at his race track debut. MY GRACE hails from the strong Peters/Williams camp and has shown enough in her trials to suggest she has ability. ROUGHEAD finished off well in his trial. PRIZE CATCH was supported on debut where he led and faded then tipped out for a spell. Numbers – 5 – 10 – 7- 4 Suggested Bet – Fraternize and My Grace RACE 3 CHARLESTOWN resumes from a break for his new trainer Justin Warwick. If he produces his best form he goes very close. SNITZBLITZ should improve sharply with the step up in distance. MERITOCRACY will get off the speed and work home well. BLUE HOUDINI trialled well. Numbers – 2 – 8 – 9 – 6 Suggested Bet – Charlestown and Snitzblitz RACE 4 Wide open maiden. HE’S OUR FREDDY closed nicely over the 1200m suggesting the increase to 1400m will suit. CHEAP EXPRESS was another who finished off nicely in the same race. STAR MOVER looks just about ready. FOXINATOR is another who has hid hoof on the till. Numbers – 4 – 8 – 7 – 1 Suggested Bet – He’s Our Freddy each-way RACE 5 TWENTY NINE BLACK resumes from a spell with the benefit of a strong trial win. His form in his last campaign was around city class animals and if brings his best he goes very close. COUNT KALA looks the logical danger off the back of a good first-up showing. JEBEL MUSA resumes from a spell for his new trainer Grant Williams. PUYSIEX threw it away last start when he ducked back to the inside. Numbers – 6 – 5 – 1 – 2 Suggested Bet – Twenty Nine Black win RACE 6 VANDEMONIAN was solid first-up in town. His only run up the straight produced a strong second. MASSACHUSETTS has become a wallet burner for the punters but she should appreciate being tucked in off the speed and launching late. The Justin Warwick pair of RENAUDIN and AUDIENCE must be respected. Numbers – 7 -6 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – Vandemonian RACE 7 PRINCESS JASMAN looks ready for the 2000m and Knuckey going on is a big plus. FATHOMS OF GOLD ran well in town last start. He looks ready. SONNEN put in an eye-catcher at his most recent outing. BIG CABBAGE is a query at the trip but beats most on ability alone. Numbers – 9 -7 – 3 – 2 Suggested Bet – Princess Jasman and Fathoms Of Gold RACE 8 This looks close to a raffle. SPONDULA has had four weeks between runs which is a query but he has shown he can stay previously and his best form is good enough to beat these. IT’S JACK is yet to place in six starts but he looks a grinding type who will be suited with the step up in trip. SPECIAL WORDS broke his maiden tag nicely last start. DEFIANCY sits on the speed and has claims. Numbers – 4 – 7 – 5 – 3 Suggested Bet – Spondula and It’s Jack RACE 9 ALMALEO turned it on last start producing a big win in arguably a stronger a race. If she produces her best she beats these. VIGHORESTA can lead and give plenty of cheek. HELM’S GATE drops sharply in class. LOW FLYING will appreciate the drop in distance. Numbers – 5 – 11 – 1 -2 Suggested Bet – Almaleo and Vighoresta QUADDIE RACE 6 – 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 RACE 7 – 3, 7, 9 RACE 8 – 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 RACE 9 – 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11 Bet Now
