These two Western Conference rivals will square off for the second time this season following the Rockets (105-110) win in Houston back in December. OKC 35-13 and top of the Northwest are 9-1 and return home after a four game road trip which included a surprise loss to the Nets in Brooklyn, their first loss in 10 games.  The Rockets 25-23 sit fourth in the Southwest and were humbled (90-130) by an angry San Antonio Spurs in their last match.  They are 6-4 past ten games and have just returned to somewhere near full strength with the return of Dwight Howard against the Spurs.

Prediction

Both of these teams are strong on offense and like to score big.  Expect this to be a high scoring match with OKC returning home after sneaking past the Bucks (126-123) in the stretch.  The Rockets were left lamenting after their drubbing by the Spurs and trying to bounce back against a strong team like the Thunder away from home is an enormous ask.  Watch out for NBA superstars Durant and Westbrook (OKC) shoot it out against Harden and Howard.  Expecting OKC to win and cover.
