Smart beginner who has the first red rug of her short career. She’ll be in this a long way and can make amends for a luckless last start 7th.

Race 3 – No. 1  Max Profit

Speed machine who has gone as quick as 22.32 here recently. Drawn to lead all the way and should do just that.

Race 6 – No. 8  Sieben Monelli

Unbeaten in 2 runs over this trip and does prefer an outside draw. Will be doing his best work late and looks hard to hold out.

Race 2 – No. 6  Black Fusileer

Has a solid record over the distance and is an all the way winner here from this very draw, defeating one of his main rivals tonight in Backpacker Jack. Tonight looks to be his night.

Race 5 – No. 1  Vanderworp    SuperPick (Win Boost)

Exciting chaser who has led everywhere but the post at his past two, the first in a Heat of the Group 1 Perth Cup then in the Group 3 Consolation. Will find this a bit easier and should be able to hang on this time.

Race 6 – No. 3  Beryllium

His efforts in a Heat and the Final of the Group 1 Galaxy were solid against much tougher opposition than this. He’s drawn well with modest beginners either side and is capable of leading them all the way.
