Race 5 – No. 6  Sleepy George

Versatile chaser who began his career with a win over this journey. He has since gone on to finish on the podium a further 11 times from 16 attempts at 405m and should give this a real shake at his return.

Race 8 – No. 3  Steampunk Wolf

Winless in 8 attempts from this alley but he is rarely far from the action in this company, placing in 3 of 5 so far. If he gets the start right, he is capable of the upset.

Race 11 – No. 10  Rage On Komara

She has finished no closer than midfield in her last half dozen but she has had plenty of reasons not to. While she’ll be relying on a lot to go her way here, she is capable of a quick jump on her night and doesn’t meet a dangerous line up.

Race 9 – No. 4  Spartan Mac

Has been racing consistently since resuming, albeit mainly over the shorter 302m. Motored home late for 2nd when returning to this distance last weekend and further improvement at box rise can see him go much closer.

Race 3 – No. 8  We The People

The wide draw is a concern but she is not the best of beginners anyway, and will likely be towards the tail of the field early. She will be powering home at the business end and only bad luck in running will see her miss the podium.

Race 4 – No. 7  Jackson County

Failed to flatter last week when 6th after a modest beginning and trouble in transit. This is the only box he has yet to win from but he might appreciate the wider draw where he can use a bit of the track to warm up and launch late. Go close.

Race 9 – No. 8  Rostered Off

Still yet to win in 7 starts over this trip but he will find this line up more to his liking and will take plenty of running down if he finds the early lead. Give hom one more chance to break the drought.

Dropping a long way in grade after placing in two of her past three in FFA company. Has the early pace to find a handy position early and should be fighting out the finish again.

Race 4 – No. 2  Exploded Ravioli

On debut over the short course and does resume from a spell. Has shown plenty of zest from the boxes over 380m and if he brings that here, he’ll take a power of beating first up.

Race 6 – No. 1  Dancing Fun

Solid without winning from this draw on Tuesday at Mandurah when tackling a solid line up. If she jumps well again sticks to the rails, she can hold her rivals at bay and break back into the winners circle.

Race 8 – No. 3  Global Bliss

Yet to miss a place since making the move to WA, all over this trip. Has her best draw yet and should not let it go to waste. The one to beat.
