Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on May 21, 2021May 21, 2021 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 21st May 2021 Race 1 – No. 1 Rusty Boom Gate Resumes from a break and does make his short course debut but has drawn favourably and is capable of a good jump on his night. Worth supporting while fresh. Race 2 – No. 2 Lou Lee No luck when resuming in stronger company last week so best to forget she went around. Has plenty of pace on her outside again but if she can find the rails early, she is capable of kicking strongly at the finish with a bit of fitness on her side now. Go very close. Race 7 – No. 5 No Tax Gave plenty of cheek at big odds last week when taking ground off of EINSTEINIUM (8) late in their heat in 22.47. Has the early pace to cross to the rails and if his main rivals find bother behind him, he is capable of causing an upset. Each Way: Race 9 – No. 2 Moon Time In and around the placings in all of his past five with the majority of those at big odds. Winless from the draw but recent efforts in good times suggest he’ll be fighting out the finish again. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.2.7/ 1.2.4.6 / 1.2.5.8 / 1.3.7.8 $50 for 26.04% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 22nd May 2021 Race 4 – No. 1 Our Seabrook No luck against the boys here over the trip either side of her Mandurah Oaks Heat second and Final victory. Has the pace to use the draw to her advantage and looks set to bounce back to her best here. Race 7 – No. 3 Jackson County Capable type who is dropping a long way in grade after a string of unplaced efforts in Open and FFA company. It will pay to overlook his figure form. Should take plenty of holding out in this line up. Race 11 – No. 7 Sudoku Shelby Handy beginner who can overcome the awkward draw. He has been performing meritoriously since arriving in WA, finishing no further back than 4th in thirteen local outings so far and looks set to place another medal on the mantel again. Each Way: Race 6 – No. 6 Earn The Answers Showed early pace from a poor draw and did cover plenty of ground in the run when racing prominently throughout before ultimately gaining the upper-hand to salute in his heat in a modest 30.05. With an easier run in transit this time around, he can give this a real shake. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 5.6.7.8 / 1.4.6 / 1.3.6.7 / 1.2.6.8 $50 for $50 for 26.04% Trifecta – Race 3 1.4.5 / 1.4.5.7 / 1.4.5.7.8 $30 for 111.11% First Four – Race 2 5.6.8 / 5.6.8 / 5.6.8 / 1.3.4.7 $50 for 208.33% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Sunday, 23rd May 2021 Race 5 – No. 1 Wise Storm Too strong when saluting first up from a spell, leading all the way in a handy 22.07 after finding a bit of trouble in running. The improved draw should help her overcome the rise in grade and she looks set to double up in this. Race 6 – No. 2 Undertaken A winner in two of four over this journey, albeit in easier Novice company. Has had excuses at her past couple and his better luck in running, she can make amends. Race 7 – No. 2 Minotaur Tux Has finished on the podium in four of his past five over varying tracks and distances, all against handy types. Has his favourite draw for this and has solid Each Way appeal. Bet Now! Bet Now!
