Race 6 – No. 2  Divided

Won three in a row in quick time here in July over varying distances when leading all the way in each. Has been thereabouts since and a swift jump can see him find his winning groove again.

Race 7 – No. 8  Just Wins Boss

Graduated to graded company in style on Sunday with an all the way win from an awkward draw in 27.62. Will need a similar jump from this alley but with her regained confidence, she should be able to do so and looks the one to beat again.

Race 8 – No. 1  Wanda Pepper

Never out of bother from this draw last week when outside the placings as an odds-on favourite. Better suited out wider and will be relying on luck again but doesn’t have the best of beginners drawn outside and can make amends with better luck in running.

Each Way:

Race 10 – No. 2  Bahrain Train

Never too far from the action of late with top 4 finishes in 8 of his past 9. Drawn favourably and will be doing his best work late. Capable of an upset if better luck in running this time around.

Race 3 – No. 1  Winsome Mia

In search of a hat trick with back to back all the way wins at double figure odds at her past couple. Drawn ideally in red and will take catching if she pinches a break.

Race 8 – No. 1  Sunset Firefly

Racing well over the trip with podium finishes in all 3 outings. Has the best draw of her short career and gets her chance to show how quick she can go.

Race 9 – No. 8  More Deductions

The class runner who can handle this draw and should appreciate the small line up. Should be steaming over the top of his rivals late and notch up that overdue and well-deserved victory.

Race 2 – No. 2  Historic Time

Making his 600m debut but his racing style suggests he’ll appreciate the rise in distance and should be prominent throughout from the favourable draw. Should give them plenty of cheek.

Race 7 – No. 1  Charos Diamond

Has only missed the place once in 6 starts over the journey and is a winner in 3 of 4 from the red. Meets a solid line up but the draw advantage can see her go a long way to winning.

Race 8 – No. 3  No Vacancy

The class runner who is a winner in 2 of her past 3, both from the cherry over the journey. Winless in this rug but she is capable of improving that stat if she can put her best paw forward at box rise.

Race 12 – No. 4  Willem Powerfish

No guide to his only run over the trip when finding bother of the boxes and then again approaching the first turn when having to hurdle a fallen runner. Surrounding form at Mandurah has been solid and is capable of an upset with better luck this time around.
